And the left did the same thing with Palin. Anything she did, no matter how minute, was instantly news and all over these boards. Was the left afraid of Palin at that time.Amazing how terrified the Right is of Hillary. They should be. In polling, she mops up the floor with every single potential contender from the GOP clown-car.
Alone, this thread proves it. All Hillary has to do is to wiggle her finger, and Rightie Douchebags react.
She acts. They react.
She is going to run, she is going to win the DEM nomination and she is going to sweep the 2016 GE. She is going to become our 45th president and join a row of 43 men who were there before her.
I seriously doubt that.
Why would you think the same reaction from the right means something different?
Her chances to win are irrelevant BTW in this conversation. Partisans ALWAYS believe their guy is going to take the nation in a landslide. Just look at the 'predictions' for Romney's landslide victory based in... in... well...
Yes, no one is afraid of here even if you think they really should be.
Well, actually, no. The Left laughed at Palin.
There is a difference between laughing at someone who literally falls off the bottom of the Bell Curve, and being paralyzed-like-shit-in-your-pants afraid of a person, like the frothers here in USMB are about Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton is going to electrify the female vote as never before, which means that she will do better in the White vote overall than people realize. Females were 52% of the electorate in 2012. With Hillary as the DEM nominee, I bet that that number will rise to 56%, easily. We will see young first time female voters all over this great Union of ours registering to vote, from Idaho to Georgia, from Maine to Alaska.
The last chance that the GOP had to stop Hillary, it just gave away with the immigration debate. The damage is now permanently done. Through pure stupidity (and this will be something the historians will be shaking their heads over for decades), the GOP has so lost the Latino vote, it can forget about it. Why? Because the GOP talking heads are too fucking stupid to realize that everytime they lump illegal aliens, most of whom who are indeed Latinos, with legal US citizens of Latino descent and demonize them all in the same cooking-pot, then they lose the Latino vote. Right now, it is so bad, you could put up a cardboard figure for the DEM nomination and it will still win the Latino vote by at least 65-33 or so. Obama just got 71% of the Latino vote in 2012, and that was BEFORE the GOP jettisoned every last chance of immigration reform. Hillary will get upwards of 80% of the Latino vote, which means that the GOP can permanently kiss New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada and Florida goodbye. Arizona and Texas both become battleground states in 2016. And there is a larger Latino population in Georgia than most realize. Hillary is very likely to add Georgia to the Democratic electoral column in 2016. She will sail over 400 EV and will win with 57% of the NPV. I have written this prediction here in USMB at least 30 or 40 times now and I stick with it.
There is no candidate in the GOP clown car who can win back Ohio, Virginia and Florida for the GOP. The other states will not even be remotely battleground states. Hillary will easily win Pennsylvania and Michigan by +16 or more.
The GOP has become excellent at destroying itself in presidential election cycles, partly because batshit crazy GOP loons get elected in midterm cycles.
I cannot wait for election night 2016. It's gonna be a blast.
