I'm curious. As long as you've been on this board, you have to know that after the voting rights act, conservatives fled the Democratic party and swelled the ranks of the Republican party. So yes, he was a "Republican", but it would be more honest to say he was a "liberal". Is it typical for you guys to be so dishonest? It doesn't bother you?

Beck's revival meeting was interesting, but somehow I got the sense if we didn't have a forward looking, progressive for president the rally would never have happened. Most Americans are contented and the idea that we may need to sacrifice for the good of the entire nation has brought out all the Coughlins and McCarthys of the country.
