Headline of the day... "Muslims fear Juan William’s ouster will fan hostility"

Yep, mentioning feeling uncomfortable with people dressed in Muslim dress on planes is seriously gonna turn Americans against Muslims.

Some people - including some Muslims - need to grow the fuck up.

Well, that's the topic of every other Williams thread but per the article in the OP, it's NPR who is fanning the flames by dropping Williams. IMHO, it's just more grist for the mill of multi-culti stupidity that marks this day and age.

(thus the Steyn video)

Muslims need to stop playing the victim card. After 9/11 there were virtually no riots against Muslims, despite the Muslim community's virtual silence on the incident. Every time they worry they are going to be targeted. Why don't they step up to the plate and condemn Muslim violence? That will do far more to creating good relations with the rest of America than constantly claiming victimhood.

Williams got a heaping dose of liberal tolerance. Meanwhile, back at the mothership, Nina Totenberg who wished AIDS on Jesse Helms and his grandchildren is still employed @ NPR.

Apparently, freedom of speech is only free on NPR if it is liberal speech. They just took down Maura Liasson, also, who also appears on Fox News. HHMMMMMM...

That's not what they're saying. They're saying that firing him for making those remarks could cause hostility towards them and I don't think that's a completely flawed view. It certainly has the potential to stir up some resentment towards Muslims.

These Muslim arseholes should start worrying about when Americans get fed up being defecated on by them.

But then, there will ALWAYS be enough Obamarrhoidal LIEbturd idiots for whom there will never be enough Muslim shit that they won't swallow with delirious joy.

Huh? How does that work? If they didnt fire him they would claim they were promoting a hostile environment towards Muslims. If they fire him they claim it promotes a hostile environment towards Muslims.
So what are they supposed to do?
I got it! Insist Juan Williams convert to Islam!

Muslims do a fine job of stirring up hatred of them all by themselves. In fact more people hate Muslims now than after 9/11.

Answer me this. How come muslims are allowed to have hostility against America, to the point that extremists murdered 3000 people. But Juan and Americans aren't allowed to say they feel uneasy? Ponder that a moment.

Interesting article here about CAIR's influence on PBS as well:

PBS apparently sent Schwartzberg to train “CAIR leadership” at a conference held specifically to “do something about” the alleged problem of “Islam defamed.” The use of the concept of “defamation” of Islam should be a red flag alert to Congressional funders of PBS: CAIR’s conference publicity followed the instructions of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to enforce Shariah blasphemy and defamation laws in the U.S. – in this case, with the support of publicly funded PBS staff.

...in their promo for the October 9 conference, “You’re tired of seeing Islam defamed and want to do something about it,” and that the OIC called for “deterrent punishments” for defamation and Islamophobia.

PBS Sends Senior Editor As Presenter To CAIR Conference On ‘Defaming Islam’

Yep. This will backfire. Big time.
