After cutting out the unconstitutional entitlement/welfare programs, spending on pig shit research, etc... if it is necessary to 'cut' defense spending, it has to be considered.... I would simply settle for not paying defense contractors who do not live up to their contracts, which would be a huge savings (from my past experience)

Get back to me when you get those programs declared unconstitutional.

In the case of SS given the better ways to do the same thing privately, it's not stupid at all. All SS is, is forced retirement savings. You can get such a better return on your investment in the private market that for most people who have done a little planning, there SS check is going to be nothing more than small glob of gravy on top.

When you see our Air Force and Navy bombing the shit out of the enemy, and knocking every enemy plane from the sky, before you are to go into enemy territory to do your duty... you are glad for every one of those planes and the carriers they may have come from... and glad that you have others at the ready for defending our homeland.. and others at the ready in case any other country or organization decides to try something while we are engaging the current enemy
