There's several things going on That are underreported

If either Biden or Warren gets knocked out before the convention the various D political machines will do everything they can to get the survivor nominated so, the right local sewer commissioner can get elected and the right state insurance commissioner can also get elected. Those offices really count down ballot.

The second coming of the SALT deduction cap will increase internal capital and employment flight to levels not seen since the Great Depression. The new state voters in what have been dependable red states will be mostly D voters and several Blue states will go Red due to a loss of tax base to run the state government.

The Epstein and FISA scandals will hit the Ds prior to the election. Warren is not involved in either scandal as a perp and Biden provides so much public record there is no need to investigate much less indict him during the election. The 2020 election is going to be a riptide for both parties

I believe the upcoming debate has both Kamala Harris and Cory Booker teaming up against Biden. He may not be able to survive the 'bloodbath'. The only reason that Biden may hold his lead after the debate, is because the Dems want Biden to face Trump in the Presidential debate. JMO
