Mackerel are a no brainer catch...see the school on the finder and drop lines with multi hooks....most lines come up with the hook through anything.....rarely the mouth...dont even need bait. They hook themselves....not fun fishing at all....
But as I said...we use it for chum and bait when we go for blues later in the season

Sometimes when we blue fish, a school of bunker literally jump out of the water....becuase blues are beneath them feeding onm them...pictiure several thousand fish all in one little area breaking water at the same time.....it looks like Godzilla is emerging from the depths of the ocean.
