Now on the other hand if an Arab was saying this.,.,.,., it makes perfect sense.

Actually it makes perfect sense,
to refer to land by the name clearly known to strangers on a different continent.
What doesn't make any sense whatsoever, is you trying to argue Joseph wasn't one.
