Cliff Kincaid brought up Armand Hammer in relation to today’s foreign policy:

These deals with Moscow make the activities of Armand Hammer seem mild by comparison.

Hammer was the chairman of Occidental Petroleum and a champion of East-West trade whose father Julius laundered money to establish the first Soviet espionage networks in the United States. Armand Hammer was himself exposed as a Soviet agent who helped former Vice President Al Gore and his family become rich.

Trade with the USSR served Soviet interests then, and it serves Russian interests today.

The Return of Armand Hammer

Armand Hammer (1898 - 1990) is a ghost that will haunt Democrats forever. Everything in Hammer’s devious life screams Democrat party hypocrisy. Most notably, they loved Hammer while they constantly wail about the evil rich. On top of never-ending Democrat party class warfare targeting the private sector wealthy, government corruption creates Democrat tax dollar billionaires in tandem with the poverty it creates with open-borders. In that sense Hillary Clinton is accurate when she says “We’re not truly well off.” They aren’t billionaires!

To be fair to Armand Hammer he was lauded as a philanthropist while the Clintons are:

‘. . . so cheap, they won't spend their own money on anything'

Rush identifies 2 of ?biggest phonies? alive today

Just to be clear about Hammer, the philanthropic component of his image only highlights the “charitable” similarities he shares with Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.

NOTE: Hammer’s father did time in Sing Sing for abortion long before American Communists and seven lawyers decriminalized infanticide. He was also a leader of the Socialist Labor Party of America which morphed into the Communist Party USA.

On a lighter note, Armand Hammer promoted an artistic origin of his name, while another school of onomastics claims his father named baby Armand after the symbol of the SLP:

The fairy tale

Taqiyya/Kerry & Company have taken the lead on environmental claptrap; nevertheless, Al Gore is still the face of the biggest scam crooks, parasites, and quislings ever attempted. Everybody should be reminded of Armand Hammer whenever Al Gore surfaces long enough to spout the latest addition to his fairy tale about manmade global warming. With Armand Hammer as a Gore-family patron the obvious question is: What does Al Gore stand to gain?

If you ever thought Al Gore is only concerned for the future of planet Earth, the human race, or his country, think again. The apple does not fall far from the tree is most appropriate when describing then-Senator Al Gore Jr who was famous for selling his vote on pending legislation to the highest bidder. It’s more than fair to say that young Al learned his politics from his father and from Armand Hammer:

Al Gore?s petrodollars once again make him a chip off the old block - The Washington Post

Al Gore’s father, Senator Albert Gore Sr., was unashamedly in Armand Hammer’s back pocket. Armand Hammer was Occidental Petroleum. Read the article carefully, or buy the book, if you want to see how larceny, corruption, and betrayal operate in the hands of corrupt families. Here’s a tiny taste of who and what Hammer was:

Armand Hammer was one of the odder, more odious characters of American business and politics, "famous" chiefly because he was rich enough to promote his mammoth ego. He has met his match in investigative writer Edward Jay Epstein, who performs the ultimate unmasking of a man who deceived, even betrayed, his country, his family and the hired toadies who posed as his friends.

Politically, Hammer was a staunch supporter of the Republican party. He boosted Richard Nixon's presidential campaign with $54,000 in campaign contributions. He pled guilty on charges that one of these donations had been made illegally and received probation and a $3000 fine,[17] but was later pardoned by Republican U.S. President George H. W. Bush.[18]

To Ravi: Nothing Bush the Elder did surprises me. I suspect that the pardon had something to do with the New World Order crowd.

Hammer contributed to Nixon as a matter of political expediency, but his political influence came from the Democrats:

And although Hammer is a Democrat, he pleaded guilty and received a suspended sentence for providing secret and illegal campaign funds to then-President Richard M. Nixon in l972. It is not a simple matter to understand the convictions and motivations that underlie these apparent contradictions.

The Democrats and their love affair with the Soviet Union is the most telling thing about Hammer’s party affiliations. He knew which side of the bread had the butter. That’s way too deep for you to grasp, while this comes from the link you provided. Obviously, in your haste to make a fool of yourself his influence in the Democrat party went over your head:

Hammer was very fond of Albert Gore Jr., and in 1984 under Hammer's guidance Gore Jr. sought Tennessee's senate office previously held by Howard Baker. Hammer supposedly promised Gore Sr. that he could make his son the president of the United States. It was under Hammer's encouragement and support that Gore Jr. sought the Democratic Party presidential nomination in 1988.

The GOP nominee's comments sparked an immediate furor at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, as well as claims by Clinton's campaign that Trump was endangering national security and even conspiring with a U.S. foe. Former Defense Secretary and CIA Director Leon Panetta denounced Trump's "irresponsible" comments from the convention floor, saying that the presidential candidate "asked the Russians to interfere in American politics."

Hillary would do well to put her continuing attack on Trump’s loyalty on hold until after she researches Al Gore and Armand Hammer:
