The problem is that violent gun criminals need to be locked up and kept locked up...that is how you actually stop gun crime.....this is a perfect case...this guy had comitted armed robbery, and after he gets out...he kills again....and then the anti gunners blame the gun.....

Oh...and the mayor is a democrat......who is laying off police.....

Again, I have pointed out...the democrats drive out businesses with their economic policies of tax, fine and fees.....then they let their allies in the democrat controlled education system destroy the lives of children by not educating them.....and then they under fund, under staff and under mine the police....well...the ones used to keep the criminals contained...the rich, democrat areas of the city have more than enough police.....

And then they blame guns for the violence....

Milwaukee mayor police chief blame lax gun laws for weekend shooting VIDEO

“You know, it’s typical. The Mayor has held that seat for over 10 years and the city continues to circle the train. We have entrenched poverty. We have obscenely high unemployment. We have failing schools. A lot of ingredients, the pathologies, and risk factors,” Sheriff Clarke told Guns.com by phone Friday. “He’s out of ideas. He doesn’t know what to do with those things so he has to look for straw man.”

On Flynn, the Sheriff was candid.

“He attacks the Second Amendment and he attacks the NRA. He called the violence that’s goin’ on in the city of Milwaukee – he said, ‘This must be the NRA’s vision for America.’ I’m appalled at this stuff. The arrogance of these two individuals – they’re so hell bent on attacking gun owners — law abiding gun owners, by the way — who are not involved in this crime and violence,” Clarke said.

During this week’s imbroglio over gun rights and gun violence, the suspect in the shooting that sparked the debate, Ricky Ricardo Chiles III, fled to Chicago — ironically home of some of strictest gun laws in the country. There the 27-year old known felon with a lengthy criminal record that spanned his adult life committed suicide Thursday as authorities closed in on him.

Let's see...was it the gun...or not locking up this monster for life.....

Still on extended supervision

Chiles had been released from prison in August 2013 after serving two years on a conviction for a 2011 Brown Deer bank robbery in which he was the getaway driver, court records show.

He was on extended supervision and was prohibited from possessing firearms at the time of the double killing Sunday.

Chiles was sentenced to far less than the maximum penalty of 10 years after the judge was told about his cooperation in an unrelated homicide case, which stemmed from an argument during a dice game.

Chiles testified for the state at the trial of "a more dangerous offender" who was convicted of first-degree reckless homicide, said Milwaukee County Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern.

In addition to the bank robbery, Chiles also had 2011 convictions for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. In January of that year, he was charged with domestic violence battery and theft, but both charges were dismissed.

In 2004, when he was 17, Chiles was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years' probation.
