Hmmmm....I guess this is a win for the anti gun crowd...the attacker didn't use a gun, and the elderly couple didn't use a gun...a win win.....of course, the violent criminal...who had just gotten out of prison 2 days before this attack, brutally beat the old man and his wife........

Well.....eggs and omelettes in the fight for gun control...right?

An elderly couple endured a vicious beating by a repeat violent criminal during a home invasion on January 24th. The man accused of the crime, 49-year-old Anthony Kamaka Shaw, was arrested Thursday.

Shaw was released from jail just two days before the incident. A recount of what happened that day was given in the article:

The man suffered a skull fracture and a gash to his head. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was placed on a breathing machine for some time. He had no memory of the attack.

Shaw then rushed upstairs, where he attacked the elderly woman, according to charging papers. She suffered a bruise to her eye and cuts to her forehead and a finger. She was knocked unconscious in the attack.
