guess who made their court date?

Mueller Scrambles To Limit Evidence After Indicted Russians Actually Show Up In Court

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is scrambling to limit pretrial evidence handed over to a Russian company he indicted in February over alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, according to Bloomberg.

and now for their defense, they get to look at all the evidence. SO - now mueller is saying we can't do that because of a security risk. well, you're the one who brought them into our court system - now you're saying we won't play fair???
Mueller makes a good argument.

Does he?

His only option is to withdraw.
Better for him to withdraw and continue the investigation into their American co-conspirators who actually have to show up in court. You're right.

This makes Mueller look really bad.
It looks like the Russian Collusion Conspiracy is BOGUS.
It's time to end this political farce.
it's clear he NEVER expected the russians to respond, much less show up in the US for a court appearance.

you know someone shat their pants when they showed up.
They're not going to show up. Getting their hands on the evidence, specifically the parts that Mueller wants to keep from them, will help them wage more effective war on the U.S. in the future.
then he must drop the case if he won't show the evidence.

besides, as oddball pointed out - if they're guilty - they already have this information. if not guilty, they get their day in court per our own rules.

he withdraws it's over. that would be a death blow. he would have gotten his bluff called and would have zero credibility at that point in this matter.

Mueller makes a good argument. Of course, Trump has likely passed off the info Mueller’s worried about already. He doesn’t want Russia to get caught again.
it doesn't matter. he is using our court system and our courts say "disclosure" - he can't hide his evidence in our court system.

he never should have used it as a prop in this "hunt" if he wasn't going to allow it to be used to the letter of our own laws.
Let's hope he can block the specific bits he wants to because they are still continuing their crimes and getting that info will help them avoid detection in the future; and they're likely not even going to show up for court anyways. I know you're cheering for them because their campaigns are helping your pet causes right now, but it will bite you in the ass in the future.
that is not how our court system works. you must disclose the evidence you have against the accused so they can prepare their defense.

no surprises.

those are OUR laws mueller should be very familiar with. ANY ATTEMPT TO CHANGE OUR JUDICIAL PROCESS is an admission of bullshit on our part.

he chose to play the card. he must see it through or call it off. this changing the rules as you go is not what our court system is about. he never should have gone this route if he has something to hide.
Then let's hope he calls it off. Better to use what he finds to defend ourselves against Russian sabotage in the future than to provide them with classified secrets when they're never going to show up in court anyways.

That's total fucking Bullshit! If Mueller had a case to ask for indictments, he should be prepared to go to court! We're not Cuba or and other Progressive shithole nation. We have laws and they must be respected and followed

If he's just jerking everyone off by abusing his power, he needs to be put out to pasture. It's another Hatfill Chase all over again

It would not be a death blow. The investigation would continue. The Russian conspirators will just sadly avoid consequences.

As I said before, I think Mueller is working with Trump and this will finally totally exonerate Trump and give him grounds for his Corleone Baptism Event to take out the democrat Party leadership, including Soros, just before the midterms.

Mueller can't possibly be this stupid and corrupt by accident

you are living a fantasy now.

the russians are they key here. they are the ones we say did all this and the ones mueller chose to indict.

if he says "uh, nevermind...my bad" it's over.

period.

fat lady ripping out a good one and it's not a fart this time.

DISCOVERY, DISCOVERY, DISCOVERY...

And Concord Management decided to fight it...

As Powerline notes, Mueller probably didn't see that coming - and the indictment itself was perhaps nothing more than a PR stunt to bolster the Russian interference narrative.

This is from the article where your conspiracy site got its information:

U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller warned that Russian intelligence services still have active “interference operations” into U.S. elections and that handing over certain evidence in a criminal case could imperil ongoing investigations.

Mueller on Tuesday asked a federal judge in Washington for an order to protect voluminous evidence sought by lawyers for Concord Management and Consulting LLC, one of three companies and 13 Russian nationals charged in a February indictment alleging election meddling via social media. Prosecutors have uncovered evidence of other individuals and entities who are “continuing to engage” in similar activities.

U.S. documents identify “sources, methods and techniques used to identify the foreign actors behind these interference operations,” Mueller wrote. Improper disclosure of that information would tip foreign intelligence services about how the U.S. operates and let them “adjust their conduct, thus undermining ongoing and future national security operations.”

Just how badly do you want Russia to continue screwing us in the future?

um - it happened. you can bag on the site - but are the russians here? if the site lied that's one thing. but they didn't. so now you are trying to discredit the site as if that changes what the fuck just happened in our courts today.

no i don't want the russians "taking over" - but i don't want the US to be using them as a prop in our internal bullshit politics either. yes they trolled the shit out of us. we need to grow up and get over it and not be so gullible in the future. but to date i've seen no russian sponsored pro trump ads that showed that was their only intent.

they pitted one side against the other time and time again and we ate that shit up like a fat kid eating halloween candy.

From the article, here's how they can get everything:

Prosecutors asked Friedrich to bar any co-defendant of Concord from reviewing evidence until they appear in his courtroom to respond to the charges. They also want to regulate disclosure of “particularly sensitive material to foreign nationals” by first limiting it to U.S. lawyers for defendants.

Perfectly reasonable, except there's no way any of those Russians are showing up here, since they know full well that they're guilty.
