Governor: Boycotts disappointing but won't change new law

That's because they DO vote! Does anybody ask you for ID when you go to the polls?

Angel you dont get to claim what latinos believe , they do.

They are NOT for this law.

Neither are many whites like me.

The boycot will work and your state will lose Millions for your racism just like you did back in the 80s over the MLK ban

Polls show otherwise. That's because the folks who agree with this law actually understand that it is to protect our nation, enforce federal law that the Obama administration will not, and it allows for agencies within Arizona to arrest ILLEGAL immigrants.

It is a crime to be in the USA ILLEGALLY. It is a CRIME; what part of crime don't you get?

Most Americans and specifically most Arizonians understand. This has nothing to do with Latinos. It has to do with people breaking the law. So are you inferring that all Latinos are criminals since you are equating this law to be against Latinos? I see now why you are in the minority opinion since you have zero understanding of this simple law. And by the way, most Latinos are for this law because they believe in law and order.

Silly little angel ,

Thiks boycott hurts the republicans and the people in Arizona who like the law.

The Latinos are standing up for themselfs.

You just dont care about the latinos in your state even the MANY latinos whos familys have been Americans longer than your own.

BTW this is still America and you cant KICK people out of your state because you dont like their ideas.

Bulcrap. If that were so, they would have been out there protesting the arrest of Ramos and Compean, two of their own that were put in jail for doing their jobs. Even more latinos are in the BP and some of them have been arrested as well. The illegals are standing up for themselves. There are many Americans of Latino decent that are just as upset about the border situation as the rest of us.

Exactly.

No but you can kick people out of your state, and the entire country if they are here illegally, and that is what the law in Arizona is all about, and it even mirrors the federal laws, so those that claim discrimination are just full of it.

Since the Arizona law mirrors the existing federal law, how can it be racist?

Also the US Supreme Court has upheld every portion of the Arizona law in previous cases, so anyone claiming it to be racist is either uninformed about federal law, and the states ability to enforce it, or is just attempting to post BS.

There is nothing illegal, unconstitutional, racist, mis-guided about the Arizona law, it just scares the s*** of out illegal aliens. 12 other state are following Arizona. Illegal aliens; your days are numbered and there is nothing you can do about it but pack up your anchor babies a run back across the border the same way you came, jumping fences, under beds of trucks, crammed in U-Hauls and swimming the American Canal. Better get a head start and got the good jobs in Mexico before they are all taken. 1 million and counting has already returned with their anchor babies.

For some time now, news reports have been calling attention to the flow of immigrants back to their homelands. Recent headlines tell the story: “Bad economy forcing immigrants to reconsider US’’ (CNN); “More Mexican immigrants returning home’’ (Orange County Register); “Fewer Cubans make crossing to Fla.; economy cited’’ (Associated Press); “Job losses push immigrants out’’ (Chattanooga Times Free Press).

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, which favors sharp immigration restrictions, the population of illegal aliens in the United States declined by almost 14 percent, or 1.7 million people, between the summer of 2007 and the spring of 2009. Analyzing Census Bureau data, researchers Steven Camarota and Karen Jensenius calculate that the number of immigrants entering the country illegally has fallen by one-third, while the number returning home has more than doubled. “Both increased immigration enforcement and the recession seem to explain this decline,’’ they write.
