It's not going to be a "GOP" problem, it will become a national problem when there's no more money to dole out in the coming years. Go ahead, let the borders open, allow people to break our sovereign laws. You really have to wonder why the average everyday american would promote and support illegal immigration and the democrat party's support of it as well. To the party, it's obviously about power, to the average American, how does it empower or help you to have illegals coming into the country? Do you really care more about your party than your country and even your own family and their future?

They're much looser on immigration, going so far as to create "sanctuary cities" in the face of current law.

Which, if the GOP were in its right mind, would create a clear opening to come up with a more sensible, moderate plan. Unfortunately, the GOP is currently paralyzed by its inexplicable adherence to absolutist dogma. In other words, the party is currently not in its right mind. "Right", no pun intended.

You can start with comprehensive immigration reform built on securing boarders and eliminating exploitation of undocumented workers which is a hinderance to American workers.

The point I'm trying to make is that the democrats are sitting in the mud hole slinging mud without doing anything themselves to fix the problem or to even have any kind of official policy on where exactly they stand on the subject. Yet their supporters seem to not only defend their mudslinging, they join in. And in addition to that they have zero expectations out of their own leadership regarding any solutions to the problem. Maybe when their party has some solutions and actually implements them and the problem is fixed, then they can point fingers. It's amusing that they sit here declaring how latinos voted for their party and we're doing something 'wrong' whenever the problem isn't being resolved. Obviously, they care nothing about the problem, they only care about their party being in power. Party over Americans and the future of their own children, that's what it looks like to me.
