1. Finestien is a lawyer and an officer of the court. She is required by federal law to report any potential felony crime immediately to the proper authorities. She can be held criminally liable under federal statutes and/or face disbarment.
2. Finestien has taken an Oath to protect and defend the US Constitution and the laws of the United States. Again Failing to report this potential crime is a violation of that oath and federal law.
You truly are ignorant of the law and the standards lawyers must meet to be an officer of the court.
Finestien can not legally keep this to herself. She is required by law to notify IMMEDIATELY the proper authorities. The request for privacy is not a concern and as a senator she CAN NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE as this would constitute a conflict of interest! There was no Attorney Client Privilege..She (Finestien) seems to have been asked to keep this private. If Finestien gave legal advice, it then became a possible ACP.
