If this takes to September 1st then Obama wins another 4 years. Sad, but true. The republican party really fucked up this primary season.

It's good. The longer they go, the more America finds out what they are REALLY about.

I agree. If they don't draft Jeb Bush at the convention, they're sunk. The base is just too far to the right and they're not going to have enough room to maneuver without a candidate that can appeal to moderates and independents. There may be other choices but, IMO, Bush is the only one with enough name recognition to make it work.

It's not a primary anymore. It's a ongoing Democratic ad campaign for Obama in the making as all the GOP hopefuls continue to bash one another and call each other names or accuse one another of not REALLY being conservative.
Assuming Romney limps or hobbles to the necessary point where he's got 1,144 delegates lined up, there will be literally HOURS of video and audio where Santorum and Gingrich insult Romney. Santorum will be a good soldier and endorse Romney. But it won't matter. Gingrich? He hates Romeny, and it's questionable whether he'll offer anything other than a tepid endorsement. Either way, I doubt Gingrich will campaign for Romney.
And everyone knows that conservatives are about as excited about Romney as a Turkey is when Thanksgiving is approaching. And let's not forget radio hosts like Mark Levin who undermine Romney every chance they get. Additionally, as several people have noted, the turnout for the GOP primaries has been down considerably from 2008. That's not a good sign since it appears that the party faithful aren't at ALL excited about ANY of the candidates.
Furthermore, despite YEARS of RW radio hosts and others pounding President Obama, his poll numbers are actually pretty good. Could it be that average people don't take RW pundits seriously because they constantly use all that over-the-top rhetoric.
And conservatives are making fools out of themselves by all this talk about contraceptives. Hell, it was bad enough when Republicans in Congress held hearings on contraceptive issues with a panel that had no women on it. The visual said it all. But then Rush had to call a college student a slut and say how he wanted to see her in a porn film? Unbelievable.
And, of course, you guys have spent YEARS alienating Hispanic voters, the fastest growing voting block in the country. You gonna tell them NOW how much you care about their issues? Think they'll believe you?
And, of course, the economy is getting better.
You guys can play your little games all you want, but unless something major happens to change the current trends, the GOP is going to go down in flames.
