If memory serves me .. this would be the second time California has decertified the machines. I think a previous SoS, Kevin Shelley, decertified them after California won a lawsuit against Diebold for falsely claiming the machines had been tested and certified.

Looks as though they did a magnificent job this time around .. but will the changes be implemented by this election?

I would also suggest someone start an internet petition site to get this more coverage.

It looks like it is n issue that has broad concern --- we all want fair elections.

You know what the best way is to fix an election?

Have the same class of people with nearly identical interests running both candidates.

So we don't need to fix the election come November, because the election has been fixed since...well probably before either of us was born.

The examples of the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights movement apply in what must be done.

Both candidates must be credibly threatened with loss of support if they don't take a stand against faith-based voting.

The last source of real information freedom Americans have left is the internet .. and it must be used to spread the message in a way that will force the mainstream press to get on board. There is precedent that proves this works.

Part of what must be done is what we're doing right now. The internet must be abuzz with this issue. Town hall meetings and political forums must form around this issue.

Visible protest and demonstration will help because the US doesn't want this on the international stage. Demonstrations of outrage will get attention. Tout Brazil as the model for democracy and see if US politicians don't get off their asses.

Politicians who support demanding integrity in our election systems must be given the platform to speak from and should garner wider support.

If all of this seems remote .. if Obama loses, this and more will all seem quite do-able.

The facts are that election fraud is by and large a GOP endevor in the last 20 years.

The dems have not been able to get anywhere near the level of deception the Rs have been using.

I will attack any real fraud no matter where it comes from. The real current fraud comes from the right. Its they who benifit by keeping people from voting. They do better in low turn outs folks and that is just fact.
