Good Nationalism-- Oh yes, it's real

Values today are villified simply on the basis of BEING someone's values. "But that's YOUR idea of right and wrong. That's selfish. You're arrogant....etc". This is similar.

Nationalism apparently gets villified in the same manner that religion does---find out a particular area where someone abused it as use THAT as the ultimate defintion.

'Well I'm east bound and down, loaded up and truckin'
'we gonna' do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there
I'm east bound, just watch 'ole' Bandit run.

Keep your foot hard on the peddle....son, never mind them brakes.....'

So you're not so much a proponent of nationalism, as you are a proponent of the values of liberty, representative gov't, and free-market capitalism.

So then, if America was to suddenly become a nation whose values were rule by military junta, socialist/communist economic policy, and a police state mentality regarding personal freedoms, would you then still be an American nationaist?

Isn't there quite a difference between nationalism and exporting it?

Yeah. I'd say so. But the two always get bunched together.

If you're lonely, I'm sure I can find someone around here to fill all your masochistic needs, Dillo. What kind of avatars to you prefer?

I've lost ya in cyber miscommunication. I'm not lonely nor masochistic. Avatars? I guess the ones that are user-appropriate and personal.
