There were no demands. In fact Jesus went to His Father for the authority to die in our place. You have to add some new words to your vocabulary. Propitiation. Exchange.

Not long ago we watched one sheep in two different locations. We saw Dolly and Dolly's mother. Same sheep two different entities. Do you really believe God is less capable of this than man?

First, He does this for us, after He was finished providing an earth and garden for our habitat:

Psalms Chapter 8
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all [things] under his feet:

THAT is how God regards His children.
And when they sinned against Him He covered their sin for them. When murder occurred in the Garden He carried the victim to Paradise and sealed the murderer to keep him safe from harm. There is no vindictive Father, only vindictive children.
Our love for him is not a condition of our salvation. His love for us is.
God's grace is greater than our sin.

Our Father feels this way about us:

Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Jeremiah 31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow

He honors us, helps us, holds our hand, and dances over us. Works for me!
So, if you are searching for a satanic prick, we can rule our Father out. Maybe you should search a little closer to home.
