It's easier to survive in hot/wet environments. Easier to grow food crops. More rainfall.

Greenland would be a green land.

The great nuclear reactor in the sky is a fussy bitch. Earth won the great galactic lottery and humans barely exist where frozen planets and molten gas are our neighbors. Pop-environmental "scientists" come and go depending on their ability to make a living out of lying about man's ability to overcome the freaking energy source in the sky that once burped and created the "ice age". Frozen (like on Mars) is the enemy of life and the piddling efforts of left wingers to blame American decadence for variations of weather is laughable.

Rate of change, and the effects on agriculture on which 7 billion humans depend.

It is literally impossible to feed 7 billion people without the intensive use of hydrocarbons.

And agricultural practices themselves adversely effect the climate. (Assuming the climate is being adversely effected by human activity)

Has more to with the rate of change and can life adapt to it.

Not really. Man regularly go's through 50 degree swings in temperature IN A DAY!.. What on Earth makes you clowns think a ONE degree rise is so bad?:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:
