Glenn Beck on Scott Brown: "This one could end with a Dead Intern"

I suppose it could be either, but I see no parallels in the Scarborough incident, but I do in that of Condit; good looking guy, special election in time of turmoil, inappropriate stuff (but Condit was screwing around, with the intern, we knew that much) Condit held on for a long time before he finally left office, but Brown wouldn't last long at all.

Here's a link to the Scarborough incident

Gary Condit, good looking?

Seriously though, the Scarborough incident is mentioned because she was found in his office.

Better looking than Barney Frank for example; I think that lots of folks saw Condit as a Hollywood type guy, and all he had going for him was his looks.

On the subject of over-analysing..... shall we review the OP? Who claims that beck 'got really seemingly angry' (exactly what is "really seemingly angry" - one is either really angry or seemingly angry - but one can not be "really seemingly angry"...)

Then, we add a transcript, complete with bolding of certain phrases and sentences in order to back up this 'real seeming anger'.....

You see what I just did Doggie? I just blew your OP totally out of proportion by picking apart a few key phrases.

That is what you do to Beck in this instance. He was laughing and joking and yet 'really' and 'seemingly' 'angry'..... explain to me how anyone on this planet can be both 'really' and seemingly' 'angry' please.

See folks, this is CG at her finest, partisan hack and attack the sender galore. But watch out, she'll call you out for supposedly doing it later.

I said seemingly angry because he had harsh words, therefore anger.

I bolded it as to what the thread is about, his comments.

I posted the video and a transcript of that whole bit, there was nothing taken out of context. You're being a hack, and embarrassing yourself. But that's nothing new.

See folks, Doggie is too stupid to know that the partisan hack is actual him. You said, and I quote "really seemingly angry". Explain to me how a person can be "really seemingly angry". One is either one or the other - one cannot be both.

You bolded parts of his comment in order to draw people to put emphasis on those sentences - otherwise why bolden them?

Add these two things together and what you are doing is taking an actual incident and spinning it for your own ends.

I called you on it and the only thing you can come back with is to call me a partisan hack. Idiot.

Glenn Beck got really seemingly angry at Scott Brown.

YouTube - Glenn Beck: What was Scott Brown thinking with the daughters thing?

BECK: I want a chastity belt on this man, I want his every move watched in Washington. I don’t trust this guy. No, I’m just telling you. … This one could end with a dead intern. This one could end with a dead intern.

COHOST: Dead intern? I’m not sure I’d go that far.

BECK: I’m just saying it could end with a dead intern. … I’m just saying: Congratulations, now let’s monitor him. Let’s put an ankle bracelet on him. Let’s just know where he is at all times.

COHOST: You’re raining on the parade. We needed 10 minutes of celebration and you are a non-stop rain cloud.

BECK: Okay, we’ll get to the celebration now — if that’s what you think is appropriate.

Massachusetts Senate Race Marks Battle for Soul of Democratic Party - Glenn Beck - FOXNews.com

I mean, I don't trust Scott Brown yet. Americans don't know him. He posed naked in Cosmopolitan magazine back in 1982. I mean — really? I question the judgment of man who thinks anyone wants to see the male body naked: 100 percent of Americans agree naked males should never, ever be seen — ever. We aren't pretty.

The point is we used to rush and blindly support someone like Brown. Republicans have been burned. So now we've taken the partisan lens off. It's like suddenly, we realized Senator Palpatine was the evil emperor.

I hear people calling for him to run for President, Kind of like what happened with Obama 1 nice speak one election and them right tot he whitehouse?
I dont think so,.

Yesterday Drudge had Brown for president as their headline :)

I remember their Arnold for president headline as well :) :)

Listened to it originally on the radio. Just relistened here.

He is making a very astute statement that should be made about ANY politician.

"Great! We think you'll be a wonderful fit, now go prove us right and brother, we will be watching you close."

But nooooOOOoooo... let's focus on the use of the phrase "dead Intern" as if we may as well start pre-planning some pretty young thing's funeral. That it's a foregone conclusion he's going to turn into Emperor Palpatine and join up with the libs to destroy this nation further. Let's just try and paint the impression that Glenn Beck went mad dog and bit the new senator when he was advising, colorfully, caution about not getting swept away, lest we forget how many other shining knights have gone to Washington only to be discovered to be the trolls they really are.

What a fucking joke your revelation is.

Oh, and as for the 'chastity belt' thing, he was dead on right in saying that was dumb to say for a father of 2 daughters. There are too many damn psychos out there, and getting swept up in a triumphal moment is very easy to do and then do/say stupid things.

Crazy? Don't I wish. Colorful, most certainly.

I've yet to see him proven wrong on any of his investigations. Then again, I only discovered him 3 years ago. Factually, he's dead on the money so far.

He is given to occasional bouts of exaggeration, those you can usually spot. But worse is when he does make predictions and piles up the research and it turns out that he's been relatively cautious in his prediction of doom for what the government is doing to our nation.

The best analogy I can see for him is, he's John the Baptist. A lone voice freaking out in the wilderness. It's only now that people are starting to go... 'ummm hey... that nutball's correct!'

Everyone once in a while he'll make a good point, but its so hard to listen to all that dribble and self admitted BS.

Yes, because the nutball has correctly predicted our march to Socialism. I'm already enjoying our Health Care, though I have a appointment with the death panels later on. You know, sterilization stuff in our drinking water really helps keep down the population. And it's a good thing that Obama's deep hated and racism for White People helped his decision to send all White People to the FEMA Death Camps. I've never enjoyed watching basketball so much in my life.

And taking our guns? Ha! A blessing!

Oh wait, none of those have happened.

Maybe he's right about how all those 9/11 victims should just shut up? Or maybe the only Katrina victims we're seeing on television are scumbags? Or maybe using the Holocaust to compare to Al Gore? Or maybe trying to propose that Barack Obama is supporting Eugenics through embryonic stem cell research.

Or maybe it's his awesome spelling: "O-L-I-G-A-R-H-Y.

Or hey? Maybe logging onto Cars.gov really does give the Government everything in your home?

But you know what? At the end of the day, he says all these things and yet none of them happen. If what Glenn Beck said was accurate true then this country would of collapsed a long long time ago. But while we're talking about things that Mr. Beck said that are true.

Just don't forget his support of the bailouts and Health Care Reform. ;)

Since all of this is opinion about Brown and his flaws, potential and real:

I watched his acceptance speech in its entirety. It was hard after a while because it was over-long. Toward the end his wife almost grimaced; the wives do that when they wish their husbands would stop talking. In my opinion he is too talkative, in a word garrulous.

I saw it again today when he was standing there with John Kerry at a mutual presser. He began to go off a little too much about his respect for Kerry by saying his daughter has John Kerry's picture in her room. Kerry did him a favor, cutting him off to say "We're going to do a triathlon together." Kerry may have just wanted to re-capture the stage but it benefited Brown; hopefully he noticed.

I recognize the problem because it’s one that I have, and it comes from being nervous in public audiences, and over compensating to fill in voids before they occur. He really must learn to overcome this tendency.

I'm sure his wife is hammering it home.

Why is Beck crazy for saying we should keep an eye on this new guy?

Obviously the dead intern thing was weird, but his overall point was why should we automatically trust this guy?

On that note I think he's right on the money.

Well if he was keeping his eye on him in the first place then he'd realize the guy is going to have to stay somewhat Liberal. He's not exactly Mr. Conservative. The tea party should of voted for Joe Kennedy, but principle goes the way of greed when you got a chance to win the election.

He has two years, what Mr. Brown does with them are his choice. If he does nothing, he'll be gone. If he joins the GOP instead of all his talk about bipartisanship? He's gone.

I'm a conservative and I would never have voted for Brown.

I don't understand what's so appealing about him.

Joe Kennedy is a libertarian, right?

It's not that he said that. Its almost everything else he says.

Last night I heard him say statitions are crazy nut jobs. How can you discredit math with a straight face? :cuckoo:
