The truth of the matter is they do cling to their Bibles and guns, I know I have lived around them all my life. No matter what religion Oblama was or is it doesn't change how people exist.

The greatest and most successful culture ever to grace this planet is Western Civilization.
We owe it to two events.....the development of monotheism, and the resultant Judeo-Christian faith. In Genesis 1:26 we find a gift of individual worth granted to every single human being.

The second impetus is the belief in reason as the key to understanding the world....give credit here to the Greeks.



The reason for the thread, and the posts following same, is my fear at the gains by the very opposite forces, Leftism, which is atheistic, and a polytheistic paganism, evidenced by the earth-worship by environmentalism, will destroy the greatness mankind has developed.

Recognizing the threat is the first step in defeating it.
