I very doubt that many Iraqis can agree with you. Many were killed by Saddam, that's why it's good that he is gone, duh.
Iraq is MUCH better off today, even if invasion was grounded on false premise.

They don't care about Saddam himself. They care about their own safety and wealth. And those were significantly decreased since and because of the US invasion. You seriously think they are crying over Saddam's removal
It's not a war yet, but yes. If there are rules - those rules can be applied to anybody. If the USA can say that Iraq has WMD-program and invade it without UN permission, then Russia can say that Ukraine has WMD program and invade it, too.and that it somehow justifies Russian annexation of Ukraine and unwinding of the biggest war since WW2??
It's not a war yet
It's not a war by the Russian definitions. It's still a military operation. But yes, it could become a local (or even a regional) war at any moment.Do you not understand that you completely discredit yourself as someone with any tether to reality when you repeat insane Kremlin propaganda bullshit like that?
It's absolutely a WAR, by every definition of what a WAR is.
It depends on your definition of the terms. This WAR has already taken around a million lives. Learn that and stop shitting yourself in public.
What "definitions" dummy? It's not a war by the Russian definitions. It's still a military operation.
According Russians doctrine it's still a "military conflict" and "military operation". They still don't use nukes and even rarely send conscrits in the battles. Talking about the level of involvement of the military forces (and the level of casualties) it's hardly more than during the military phase of second Chechen campaign. What "definitions" dummy?
We have armies of two countries actively fighting each other using infantry. tanks, atillery, aircraft, missles. All with heavy casualties.
How much vodka do you have to drink to think that this is not a war?

Technically, Vietnam, Iraq and Korea were also not wars. Congress never declared war. What "definitions" dummy?

However, you didn't get put in jail for saying they are wars in the US. In Russia, you can be put in jail for that.
Mobilised and conscripts are two different things. What I want to say, is that they still don't use the bulk of their Army. You have got yourself off of the silly Kremlin propaganda diet and get a mind of your own.
Anyone with a head on their shoulders knows damn well that these are not mutually exclusive concepts a war IS of course a military conflict and of course can ALSO be called millitary operation(s). It doesn't change the fact that there is a raging war in Ukraine.
"rarely send conscripts" is nothing but state bullshit aimed to give Mobics false hope that a draft note is not a one way ticket to the front lines.
Watch the call intercepts and interviews with captured Russian mobics. Once they get to Ukraine they quickly learn the reality - for most the only way back is as a 200 (dead) or 300 (badly wounded)
As a figure of speech they, of course, use that term (as well as 'Chechen war' or 'Syrian war') . But, it is important to understand (for all parties concerned) that de jure it's not a war, as well as flirting or harassment is not sex or raping. You know, nothing serious at first—just a pat on the bottom or a pinch on the arm.Nobody in American politics has ever denied there was a Vietnam war or Iraq war.
It's takes crude Russian grade propaganda to try to convince the population there is no war going on, when there clearly is.

That may not be far from the truth, Russia has exposed US Bio establishments in Ukraine, F the EU Nuland was confronted at the US about it, she looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. They don't care about Saddam himself. Sure they did.Yep, another Kremlin propaganda victim.
There has never been any serious evidence of any bio-weapon development program in Ukraine. They had standard healthcare labs that would be found in just about any coutry, recieving standard international healthcare grants.
