Geraldo Rivera: 'The NRA Is Full Of Sh*t'

Until those people are convicted of a crime or adjudicated as mentally incapable of responsibly owning guns they can't be kept from buying guns. It's that whole pesky "due process of law" guaranteed by the 14th Amendment thing.

Unless you're cool with having your rights decided on whether or not you're on a list with no idea who put you on that list, why you are on there, if it is even you in the first place or just someone with your same name, of even if that list exists in the first place.

How many people are placed mistakenly on no-fly lists?

Of course your argument is that a no-fly list doesn't exist, so good luck with that.

So ISIS attacks and it's still the NRA's fault?

OMG you lefties are nuts.

:lmao:

ISIS and the NRA are allies. The NRA is doing everything in their power to make sure suspected terrorists can still purchase deadly weapons - that's called aiding and abetting the enemy. Whether or not this particular attack was directly aided is irrelevant, they are on the same side.
The NRA wouldn't hesitate to facilitate gun sales directly to ISIS. Maybe they already are.
Does your mother know you're off your meds?

Think she's been hitting the old peace pipe a little to often....

The Fox News host criticized the gun lobby after the deadly mass shooting in San Bernardino.

Fox News' Geraldo Rivera tore into the National Rifle Association after Wednesday's shooting in San Bernardino, California, that left at least 14 dead and 17 injured.

"The NRA is full of shit," Rivera tweeted shortly after the shooting.

Rivera, a frequent critic of President Barack Obama, praised the president for his repeated calls for gun reform.

Geraldo Rivera: 'The NRA Is Full Of Sh*t'

I rarely agree with Rivera - but I do about the NRA. The NRA used to be a good outfit, and I was an NRA member for many years until it turned to shit after being hijacked by radicals in 1977.

Good for him!!! I bet Fox fires him now.

naw, they allow news anchors and reporters to follow their own opinions not the managements. unlike any other broadcast station in the world.

Those suspected terrorists have not been detained, have not been arrested and have only had their names put on a list by a nameless bureaucrat who doesn't need to state a reason or identify who they are when they put you on the list……that whole arrest, witnesses and conviction before you are denied rights…that is soooooo 20th century…..and sooooo…American….all the great countries didn't bother with all that stuff…vietnam, China, the Soviet Union, Germany in the 30s and 40s, Cuba….all the socialist paradises know you don't need no stinkin trials to deny people rights...

Aren't the Constitutionalists fighting for the rights of suspected terrorists?

so again, if guns are purchased legally what is the advantage to increasing gun laws? Sorry, but your form of stupid is just that, stupid.

My argument is that a person on a no-fly list can purchase a gun legally. The only rebuttal is that a no-fly list doesn't exist.

dude, my name was on a no fly list. there were eight year olds with names on a no fly list. You should learn what a no fly list actually is.

Why was your name on a no-fly list?
its the name of someone who is wanted and is on a no fly list, anyone with that name, and there could be thousands of people with the name. They all are added to the list, All of them. Like I said it hit eight year olds. Parents had to get special permission for their eight year olds to fly with them on vacation because some dufus's name was on a no fly list. it's hell baby, hell. Especially when you travel for a living. Special letters, check in at the counter for every flight, no kiosk ticket.

The internet is friendly, you can look it up.

How about we remove voting rights because "you are on a list", or your right to a jury trial, or your 4th amendment rights?

The problem is if you end up on that list wrongly, and are denied 2nd amendment rights, how long does it take to get off the list? Months? Years? Will the police provide 24/7 security to someone on the list who needs a gun for protection?

Because the list isn't perfect we shouldn't side on caution?

Would you like your voting or 4th amendment rights removed because "you are on a list?"

Removing a right requires due process. Being put on a list is not due process.
