I don't like Harry Reid, but this accusation that he is somehow responsible for this scandal is complete partisan bullshit. He was protecting his constituents, many of whose livelihoods thrive on tourism, from an over zealous federal policy and damaging comments by the president to the most populous part of the state he represents. He didn't tell the GSA to come out to Vegas and blow almost a billion dollars in taxpayer money. He simply told the president to shut up and stop telling people not to come to Las Vegas because it was putting the people of his state out of work.

I have to agree there DTM.

I'm no fan of Reids either but Nevada has been hard hit with this economy so I'm sure he had no problem with all the tourism he can get.

Just too bad the the GSA blew all our money on a Vegas vacation.

Whoever dreamed up this little junket should be in the UE line.
