Fun!

Yeah, I'd say it was a Google bomb.

Yeah and you'd be wrong.

Yeah...and?

Intentional or unintentional?
Either way, it's still a bomb.

And a hilarious one at that!

"While it may seem like the work of an online prankster, the Romney "completely wrong" Google bomb was unintentional."

" Google spokesman confirmed to Slate that the results are not a deliberate Google bomb."

Unlike the Santorum bomb, this was spontaneous.

That pretty much says it all.

And, thanks for combining the threads.

LOL, you just proved me right. A google bomb by definition is intentional. If it's not done intentionally as you just posted it ceases to be a Google bomb.

You probably shouldn't argue things you have no clue about.

"A Google bomb occurs when numerous links all point to a target page with the same link text."

Perhaps you want to break down the link profile that highlights how this was a Google bomb.

Apparently not. Google twice called it a 'google bomb', while maintaining it was unintentional. Therefore, it is possible, according to Google, a 'google bomb' can be unintentional.

Pretty sure the people at Google can be trusted more than you as to what constitutes a Google bomb.
You're really letting this upset you!

Log off, and go take a nap. You'll feel better when you wake up. That is, until you realize that Romney winning was only in your dreams.

hardly. I am pointing out that saying a google bomb by definition must be deliberate is incorrect, according to Google. Again, pretty sure I trust them over some libtard here.

The explanation (so says Google) is that Mitt recently said that his statement about the 47% was "completely wrong." Thus the phrase generates lots of hits on Mitt. For now.

They are always contrite when they get caught.

And did he specify whether he was completely wrong for saying it, as opposed to completely wrong for believing it?

Then Google Bomb has absolutely no meaning.

My point stands.

The terms Google bomb and Googlewashing refer to practices, such as creating large numbers of links, that cause a web page to have a high ranking for searches on unrelated or off topic keyword phrases, often for comical or satirical purposes. In contrast, search engine optimization is the practice of improving the search engine listings of web pages for relevant search terms.

Google bomb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Google bombing is the practice of enhancing any website’s SEO profile by repeatedly inputting the keyword associated with the destination. With enough mass participation, Google bombing can bump the desired content to a higher page ranking in search results. This somewhat subversive practice can be employed for a variety of purposes: to drive traffic to a business, share political ideology, or even just for the lulz.

Google Bombing | Know Your Meme

"Google bombs" are collective efforts to link to a site by a key phrase and artificially elevate a Web site in the Google search results for that search phrase. Google bombs rely heavily on the influence of PageRank. Some Google bombs are politically motivated, while others are done as pranks, and some may have been motivated by ego or self promotion.

Google Bombs Explained

And you put in socialist and it's predominantly Obamalama

That's because idiot rw's STILL have no friggin clue what the definition of "socialist" is.

Ronnie Ray-Gun was the Socialist but don't expect your average "maroon" rw to know that.

But what you just posted is untrue. That's why a typical moron (you) thinks he "knows" it.

By coincidence, I just posted a new thread about Reagan's SOCIALIST health care "plan", which is now Mitten's SOCIALIST health care "plan".

Tell me just what part of that is not true.

Right and people named photos of him using that phrase or included that phrase in captions about him. All of that leading to the results we see. If it was done intentionally it would have been a Google Bomb. However it wasn't and is just Google being Google.

Google never called this a Bomb, probably why you ignored my last post asking you to point out where they did.

Probably shouldn't talk about things you don't understand. You're outclassed on this one, trust me.

you must have missed (ignored) where I pointed out that Google themselves indicate a Google Bomb need not be intentional, to still be considered a Google Bomb.

No they didn't. You have no clue what you're talking about. It's actually pretty funny at this point.

For the record, I do this very thing for a living. I am the head of a large SEO department within a very large international digital agency. I literally live and breath Google every day for the last 12 years. Trust me on this, you're wrong.

Read the article.
I even highlighted in previous posts where Google called it a bomb.
