smart guy! really really smart guy!
Surprisingly enough, it works. A guy I do business with is voting for McCain because he thinks his taxes will go up. He doesn't make anywhere near $250,000 in income...
Slip of the tongue by Biden, according to all reports. How about $150k? That's the latest number by Biden, over the weekend. Obama on Friday said, $200k. By next Wednesday, probably $42k, which is what Obama last voted on.
Slip of the tongue by Biden, according to all reports.
I don't think anyone should lower taxes at this point for anyone, we've got way too much debt. But the idea of lowering them for the people that actually spend money is somewhat sensible.
I never understood the mindset of people that don't think they owe their country anything--and in my opinion, that includes taxes to pay for our security.
You don't realize the rich don't give a fuck about you. You make the same as you did in 1999 and the rich caused inflation with their radical agendas.
So why should Chris give a fuck about them? He's not looking to make them poor, but they sure do seem to be trying to make us poor.
About Republicans for Obama | Republicans for Obama
The only people who are still voting McCain are the super rich, super racist or super stubborn/stupid/ignorant.
I don't have any guilt. And I don't have any problem paying a higher tax rate if I make more money. I'd have a hard time being successful without all the bennies that come as being an American. You can call it guilt, I call it gratitude. How about not owing anything more than anyone else...
Everyone pays for equal legal help, law enforcement, national defense etc....
But no... that's not good enough for the touchy feely libbies.... their liberal guilt makes them think to use the government as a tool to be generous with everyone else's earnings
You can call it guilt, I call it gratitude.
But feel free to offer a welfare plan that actually benefits the country more than ours does.
YouTube - Obama talking to Joe the Plumber - Full Context
to take one line out of a more than 3 minute conversation where Obama explains more of what he means is assinine!
"For the small business people, I want to eliminate the capital gains tax."
Gee, I wonder why the McCain camp didn't seize on that one?
How come we don't hear that repeated ad naseum on rant radio?
Could it be that such a statement wouldn't serve to paint Obama as a "socialist" or an "extreme left winger"?
Taking one phrase, and trying to make a mountain out of a molehill as the McCain camp is trying to do is a sign of desperation.
That is the observation of someone who is not necessarily an Obama supporter at all.
Maybe it's because the Lawyer understands that the fiscal decisions are made by the Legislative, and he can't do anything without them. So, his promises are not his to be made, and will be shouldered by Batman and Robinhood over in the Senate and House.
Wouldn't that apply to the "spread the wealth" statement also?
No, he's been for that all his life, so he probably actually meant that. I can't find any reference to him being for small businesses 10 years ago. Maybe you have a link?
Thanks for posting this. People are being convinced to vote outside their own tax bracket.
According to Reagan, Trickle Down is spreading the wealth.
The term does not refer to socialism. Nice soundbite, but bullshit.
Spreading the wealth is also spreading the opportunity for gaining wealth. This means beyond the upper 1% but to the whole middle class.
I am always amazed by how many in a middle class income have bought into the trickle down theory.
