FU--Virginia

I'd say the folks claiming that it was rigged need to produce some proof.

It looks like the candidates were not serious about Virginia.

Not much more to see here.

As it has been pointed out to you most didn't even try to get on the ballot. Secondly Paul is doing the best in NH and Iowa to Mitt...

You sir have a bias and it has blinded you... You sound like a crazy Newtie-bot to be honest.

You have 4 CANDIDATES that delivered the required signatures--and the 2 biggest threats--Perry and Gingrich were somehow eliminated from this ballot--stinks worse than a skunk living in your bedroom.

Dude, calm down... Your blind support for you messiah is freaking us out here.

Prove Perry and Newt had enough sigs or get over it man.

BTW, if Newt and Perry were the top "threat" to Mitt, than the sigs should have been easy and done ahead of time.
The literally could not get at least .003% of the registered voters in Va.

With MONTHS to gather the signatures.

Pretty telling.

Never mind the head of the VA GOP was telling them and putting it out in the press well over a month ago : better get your shit together guys.

Deadline is coming up. They were given major warning signs well over a month ago. Did they listen? Nope.

laziness doesnt deserve the white house.

Maybe you didn't read it--
This is freakin rigged and there's no doubt about it.

Four candidates — former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, former House speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Rep. Ron Paul (Texas) — turned in thousands of signatures by the deadline.

When 6 out of 8 GOP candidates are disqualified I think we can call this a RIGGED primary.

How is it rigged?

Rules are rules. When 6 out of 8 candidates are disqualified, it means 6 out of 8 candidates didn't follow the rules.

You haven't given us any indication to think otherwise except for the fact that you just keep saying it's rigged.

Oh, and let's not forget this is Newt's State! He freakin LIVES there, and has for 12 years.

He of all people should know what the rules are pertaining to qualifying for the VA primary.

Goes to show how clueless he is, unless of course he thinks the rules should change just for him.

While Va most likely wont matter, it just goes to show you why this current crop of retards are a waste of time.
If i was a republican, living in Va, and they skipped my state or went about it lazy like?
Fuck them they dont get my vote period.

Talk about a FREAKING rigged primary state. Again FU VIRGINIA you SUCK.

Don't you mean that the Virginia Republican Party sucks...since they are the ones that determine how their primary is run.

Imagine if you could get your name on the ballot by just sending in a simple handwritten request.

you're mentally ill. it isn't virginia's fault that the candidates didn't do what they needed to in order to get on the ballot. even the most local of local races has a minimal signature requirement. given we're talking about statewide election, 15,000 signatures should have been easily done.

i suppose you can rant and rave if you want and pretend someone done your folks wrong... but that's pretty stupid.......

but in your case, i guess it's easier than thinking.

If they were too stupid to understand the legal requirements of what they were trying to do it is all their own fault. It's the standard by which many of you judge foreclosed homeowners, apply it to these people who ran for president knowing, from day one, that they did not have the support to be serious contenders.

It is the obligation of the candidate to make sure all Ts are dotted and Is are crossed. Not the state. If they can't meet the obligations, then there needs to be a reassessment of their qualifications.

HORSESHIT--6 out of 8 candidates are DISQUALIFIED?--IT'S RIGGED.

How interesting that you think people who do not follow the posted, clear procedures are somehow still qualified. Would you say that if they were Democrats?

"Paul Goldman, former chairman of the Democratic Party of Virginia, said Saturday that the state legislature, which convenes Jan. 11, should empower the secretary of the commonwealth to allow credible candidates to appear on the state’s primary ballot.

“The Republican loyalists of Virginia should be entitled to vote in their primary for those credible candidates seeking the party’s presidential nomination,” he said.

“Bachmann, Huntsman, Gingrich, Perry and Santorum meet the test of legitimate candidates for the GOP nomination. They are getting 5 percent or more in key polls right now. Keeping them off the ballot denies the people their right to choose,” Goldman said."

Democrats are stupid. Getrich and perry are RINO's they should be on the democratic ticket. As Romney making it I am a little shocked. I hope the people of North Carolina are just as smart as the people in Virginia, when it comes time toi make a selection.

In a huge blow to the Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann, Santorum and Huntsman campaigns, all of them have failed to meet the required 10,000 registered voter signature petition requirement to appear on the Virginia primary ballot taking place March 6, 2011. Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have qualified for the primary. Republican presidential candidates Michele Bachmann, Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum failed to qualify for the Virginia ballot, according to state GOP officials.

Your state is CRAP--when you can eliminate 6 out of 8 GOP candidates--my final word--is FU--& it's no wonder you live next door to Washington D.C.

It's the candidates who didn't realize they had to do this that are crap.

you understand why he's saying that, right? it's because splitting the vote and keeping the primaries going helps dems. it makes the candidates spend their money up front. plus running against newt would be a dream. he'd beat himself.... dems wouldn't even have to do the job for him.

but the reality is, every year in every election... volunteers get signatures for their candidates... it doesn't matter if you're dem or repub... even after you get your signatures, you have to worry that the person (or persons) running against you will get enough of your signatures disqualified so that you get kicked off the ballot.

if a candidate can't organize the basic grass roots organization to get on the ballot, they shouldn't be on the ballot.

the o/p loon should grow up.
