This is the overwhelming victory/benefit of the EU.
Take a look at all the original members,most of Western Europe. A character like Le Pen,Wilders,Farage has never taken power. The democracies are too stable for that.
The newer countries are a mixed bag and there are some nasty buggers out there. But at some point their standard of living will rise to a level whereby extremist politics has no traction.
Its progress,its making the world a better place.
Co-operation not confrontation, thats the thing.
