BBC continues to refuse to own up to its shabby biased reporting.

Most of the photographs and videos coming out of Gaza are provided by Palestinian Arab stringers who are only paid for pieces the news agencies want to buy, so no hot shots, no money. Additionally, if you have been following events in this area, legitimate Palestinian Arab journalists work under threat of retaliation from both the governments of the West Bank and Gaza as well as the terrorist organizations if they don't report what they are told to report. Sporadically these journalists strike in protest of these restraints, but to little effect.

In the past, not just CNN and BBC have been caught publishing staged photographs as candid shots, but virtually all of the major news outlets, including Reuters and the New York Times, because they all depend on stringers and don't have enough salaried staff available to verify the authenticity of the materials they receive from them. It is shabby journalism to accept these materials for publication without verifying them, and it is likely bias that leads these organizations to succumb to such lax standards.
