Former CIA Director: Trump Cannot Credibly Serve As President | Huffington Post
Donald Trump cannot possibly serve as president if he keeps embracing Russian leader Vladimir Putin, two top former spymasters argued in a scathing editorial.

Michael Morrell, the former deputy director of the CIA, and Mike Vickers, the former undersecretary of defense, took Trump to task in a Washington Post editorial published Saturday. Chief among their concerns is Trump’s seemingly unwavering support for Putin, who the two argue has “repeatedly shown himself to be an adversary of the United States.”

“Putin, during his long tenure, has repeatedly pursued policies that undermine U.S. interests and those of our allies and partners,” Vickers and Morrell said. “He has steadily but systematically moved Russia from a fledgling democratic state to an authoritarian one. He is the last foreign leader you should be praising.”

The editorial comes after Wednesday night’s debacle of a forum, where Trump said he would keep saying “great things” the Russian president as long as Putin continues to compliment him.

Trump very well might be a traitor and on the russian dole. Not something to elect to the presidency! Unless of course, you want America to be a satellite state of russia.

“I’ve already said, he is really very much of a leader,” Trump said of Putin. “I mean, you can say, ‘Oh, isn’t that a terrible thing’ ― the man has very strong control over a country.”

But “control over a country” has been at the expense of the Russian people themselves, Morrell and Vickers argued.

At home, Putin has jailed and killed political opponents. He has jailed and killed journalists. He has neutered the Russian media to the point that he is in complete control of the message reaching the Russian people. He has the popularity that you so admire only because he determines what the Russian people hear about him and his government. Do you support Putin’s violation of Russian law and his tramping of the civil rights of his populace, explicitly protected in the Russian constitution?

Well, Trump, do you?

Telling the truth disqualifies someone from being president?

No wonder we're in the situation we're in. Putin is a better leader than obumble. How hard is that to say? Putin is a better human being than obumble. See, the truth just pops out there.

How does he feel about Hillarys carelessness?
I bet he feels pretty good about it. Look at all the classified documents he got to read because of her.
Makes his job easier.

Trump loves Putin not because what Putin does or does not do....
It's all about being loved
Trump believes in anything that get him some of that.

From an article in the NY Times today....

For Trump, the whole point of political office is adulation, and adulation is the entire proof of a person’s worth.
Rectitude pales next to ratings. Ethics are a sorry substitute for applause.
And the methods by which a crowd is fired up don’t matter, so long as he can bask in the clapping.

This is Trump’s core — or, rather, his terrifying lack of one.
