Florida for the win again. School vouchers for everyone now. We can shut down many of these shitty public schools and the kids can now get a good education from private schools.

DeSantis said he would sign it. Democrats and the filthy Teacher's Union opposed it that means it was the right thing to do.

It also allows for vouchers to be paid for home schooling, which is great.

Florida's school choice expansion bill now heads to the governor's desk
The proposal (HB 1) would offer school choice vouchers to all students in Florida, regardless of income or zip code.

Proponents say it will also prioritize students with disabilities, thereby addressing the wait list of roughly 9,000 students seeking alternative schooling. Students of low and middle-income families are also prioritized.

“We should be empowering every single family and every single child,” bill sponsor Rep. Kaylee Tuck said Friday on the House floor.

Supporters of the bill maintain the bill will allow parents to pursue schooling that best suits their child’s needs. They also contend school-choice will allow parents to overcome unique barriers like class size and curriculum.

“With this vote today, we will send a clear message, not just to the people of Florida, but to the people of America, that here in this state we believe in funding our students, not in funding systems,” said Palm City Republican Rep. John Snyder, a proponent of the bill.

Critics, meanwhile, say the measure will deprive public schools of resources and fund private schools that lack comparatively adequate oversight.

“There’s a seat at the table for every educational option,” said House Minority Leader Fentrice Driskell. “But, there’s no reason for corporate schools to steal food off the plate of our local neighborhood schools.”

The Florida House passed the legislation on March 17 along a near party-line vote, with four Democratic lawmakers approving the bill. The Florida Senate voted 26-12 Thursday to send the bill to the governor's desk.

Lets stand by public education! One system for all is just better for us all.

But if not then we can set up a school for gays and transgender people to feel safe in.

It’s a GREAT way to kill public education
You are confused Moon Bat.

The kids still get educated for free. However, now they can chose quality education over shitty public schools.

Besides, in a lot of cases it is time to "kill" the failures that many public schools have become.

We sent our kids to private schools to get a good education and still was forced to pay the filthy taxes to support the shitty public schools and that is not fair.

Speaking of taxes........
It's hard top believe how sheepish and docile Americans are over the massive tax burden the Left is putting on everyone.
There is a real and ongoing push to shift the wealth of Americans into the hands of government (Socialism / Marxism)

If you truly add up ALL the real (and not just declared) taxes you pay it's startling.
People are losing their homes and can't eat because local state AND Federal government bureaucracies DEMAND their tithing and forced "dues"
You should see the elaborate and ornate palaces city state and federal governments are building for themselves. Absolutely disgusting.
Look at Atlanta Georgia government buildings 141 Pryor St, inside. Meanwhile they are devising every trick in the book to jack up taxation and even take homes from the less fortunate and elderly especially. WSB did a story on it not long ago but nothing changes...it gets worse.

Why are we all so quiet and accepting of these crippling burdens and massive, unfair assessments?

When you look at all the direct and indirect taxes from the Federal, State and Local governments it is pretty damn close to 40% of the GDP of this fucking country for the cost of government and that is why we don't have the tremendous economic growth we should have.

However, the school voucher program will not result in much of a decline in state or local taxes. The school districts will still have to collect the money to pay for the vouchers.

The that filthy ass Federal government is still wasting billions for that worthless Department of Education that we pay for through Federal taxes..

The way it is now in the leftist states/areas it should be killed, dead as a wedge, and with extreme enthusiasm..

The teacher unions did not have any problem shutting down schools for near two years.

If you are looking for a group to have the "racist" sign hung on them then the teacher unions are a prime candidate....It was poor black kids that suffered the most during the union-fueled shutdowns.

I trust corporations a lot more than I trust goddamn bureaucrats, whose bosses are corrupt politicians, elected by greedy special interest groups.

My sons were educated in the Lutheran school system. A non profit system that puts out quality education for less than half the cost per student than the shitty public schools.

Why do you Moon Bats hate quality education so much?
