You build the supermarket and make it a CO-OP allowing community members to join and share in the profits. That way you reduce the temptation to steal. You just need tto shut your white ----- up. Brrooks took in several milliion, he coulld have built a supeermarket, or a superstore with a grocery store in it. Providing job training with no jobs iisn't helping anyone.

Speaking as someone who is a member of a co-op, that is not how it works. No one is earning a profit by shopping at, or being a member of a co-op. But whatever, follow your socialist masters into your grave.

Being that I have been there and in many other black communities and you or MoronMike haven't, that I can speak on this better than whites who think Pastor Brooks is the only black person trying to do something in Chicago, or that Chicago is the only town in America.

Yet he is doing something positive for his community, and you're bashing him for it because he didn't ask you first what to do.

Why would a community center be less likely to get stuff stolen from than a supermarket?

Because a community center is not selling goods people consume on a daily basis. Of course, stuff can get stolen, but there's less of it, and like you said, that reduces the temptation to steal.

I know the black community better than a white dude repeating stereotypes and that there are other businesses in that neighborhood that have been there fro yearrs and shoplifting is more prevalent among whites.

If shoplifting is more prevalent among whites, why do grocery stores stay open in majority white communities in greater numbers than in majority black communities? It doesn't ring true. Stores exist to make a profit, and close when shoplifting destroys those profits.

If it is so easy to make it work, why are the communities not flush with them? I would love to see functioning stores staying open in all neighborhoods without fear of theft or employees being murdered, but it's not happening that way.
