Yep....this felon is now allowed to buy, own or carry a gun.......and yet background checks did not stop him, registering guns would not have stopped him....and a magazine ban would not have stopped him....as well as an "Assault Weapon" ban ....which isn't an assault weapon ban...it is simply a ban on rifles for civilians...
Now...if anti gunners actually cared about gun criminals, and not law abiding people who own guns...this guy would go to prison for 30 years.....or longer. The problem? Anti gunners don't care about criminals...they simply hate normal people who own guns.....
Assault rifles, handguns, ammunition confiscated from Port St. Lucie felon's home
Police said the investigation began when ATF received an anonymous tip that Peterson, a convicted felon, displayed a firearm in public.
Port St. Lucie Police and ATF conducted an unannounced probation check at Peterson's home and found a loaded firearm under his pillow.
Police said they searched his house throughout the night and also found:

- Three loaded assault rifles with high capacity magazines, one of which had an illegally modified short barrel
- Three loaded handguns, one of which was stolen out of West Palm Beach
- Nearly 2,000 rounds of live ammunition, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
