Farewell Ron Paul...Thanks For The Ride!...

He has no use for Jews, blacks, or women.

Where the heck did this come from? How are you coming to these conclusions?
He is grasping for straws
While I do embrace some Libertarian ideals I do not agree with that party's more extreme ambitions simply because I reject the notion that a society as massive and as complex as ours cannot function with as little government as true Libertarians are willing to accept.

Ron Paul is an MD, which means his livelihood is assured regardless of any political or social circumstances. He can cross any border and his services will be in demand. Such is not the case with the vast majority of people, most of whom have come to rely on organized, government controlled forms of commerce and equitable distribution of wealth and resources.

Too many so-called Libertarians are concerned with one thing, elimination of the income tax. But they give little to no thought about the consequences of such a radical prospect. And that is the reason for the Libertarian Party's consistent failure.

We had no income tax for over 100 years...income tax only came about in 1913.So we very much can do without an income tax.

That society became as large and complex in spite of an all-powerful leviathan central gubmint, not because of it, comrade.

And America did quite well for over 150 years without a federal income tax, or any other unapportioned direct taxes for that matter, so the only "consequence" we would face by ending it is the feds getting the hell back into their box, which avowed socialist central planners like you will have none of.

It's very difficult existing outside the current contrived false paradigms. Original and independent thought is not only discouraged, but punished as well. I think this sums up the current state of our nation...

No, it's irrational.

It's the only way to explain why people that constantly claim his irrelevance endlessly argue about how horrible he is.
He has no use for Jews, blacks, or women. He doesn't believe that doctors should have to follow basic rules and regulations. Irrational? I don't think so. Nor hatred either. Disgust at his brainwashed supporters (with a few exceptions, there are a couple of Paul-bots here that aren't hate-filled spewers).

Also his claims about how evil government handouts are while he takes all the pork his state gets. And his ass kissing of the Republican party to get votes.

Baloney.

You misconstrue his main premise into what it could potentially lead to, and then stick him with the results as being what he wanted in the first place.

He doesn't want the Federal Government to have more authority than was originally intended in the Constitution. It doesn't mean he thinks the Civil Rights act or child labor laws or medical regulations have no place in the world.

Granted, I myself, as you have probably seen, don't really agree with the Libertarian view of removing most authority away from the Federal Government, I think much of the philosophy is well-intended, but very impractical when applied to modern times. I have a hard time comprehending how such a transition could actually occur.

But, I like the type of character Paul has for someone in the US Congress, you may not agree with him, but at least he's sincere, and I actually think he does have our best interests in mind, whether it's an agreeable approach or not.

Now Mitt Romney is a worthy enemy...direct the hate at him.
You're welcome to your opinion. The fact that he stood by and said nothing about rather racist items in his newsletter shows me his character. And the fact that he thinks a state has the right to regulate a woman's body shows me he is nothing but a big government stooge.

He has more character and dignity than you'll ever have. What have you ever done for your nation? He served his nation proudly and bravely. And he has fought for all Americans' Freedom & Liberty. Even yours.

How many other things, including our industrial and technological supremacy and our massively powerful military, did we not have prior to 1913?

While I will agree that the income tax could be administered much more efficiently I do not agree that we can get along without it. The U.S. has grown much too big and complex to survive without government administration, which costs a lot of money. And the income tax is the only way to derive as much as is needed.

Everyone stop. Seriously all joking and politics aside. Attacking him on his service record is about as douchebag as it gets.
No one is attacking him for his service. The claim was made that he put his life on the line. Delivering babies on a base in San Antonio is not putting your life on the line.

Going to fight in Vietnam would have been.

If anyone is dishonoring combat veterans it is those that claim Ron Paul put his life on the line.

He helped heal and save our Soldiers you miserable asshole. Which is much much more than you'll ever contribute to our nation.

Why are you combat engaged in a troll, Paulitician? :lmao:

Let it go, bro. It's like arguing with a fucking Rick Perry supporter.

Did he? I don't know that there were many female soldiers back then. Regardless, you have not demonstrated that he put his life on the line as you claimed.
