Far Right Wing Violence Has Skyrocketed Since Obama Elected

Maobama surely doesn't care look to the deaths of black on black murders in Chicago. Then there Los Angeles and the Chicano gang violence. Shh, we're not supposed to make true remarks about incompetent Democratic Party leadership in Blue cities

It is quite interesting to me how Obama seems to have distanced himself from any meaningful discussion regarding black poverty, black incarceration, and every other social ill that his particular minority group suffers.....

It is like he is ashamed.

Yes it is quite odd that the "community organizer" shuns his own communities. I guess he is to far above them and the rest of the Choom gang to care.

My guess is he doesn't want to rock the delicately balanced DNC boat: There are LOTS of blue-collar white Dems that tolerate Obama as long as he doesn't behave too much like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton.

Yet his quote is wrong the states with the higest murder rate are BLUE:

United States cities by crime rate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Noomi doesn't know, she just likes to post.

That was for 2011, do we have any stats for 2012?

It's also city statistics not state.

Murder Rates Nationally and By State | Death Penalty Information Center

By the numbers the top 5 highest murder rates are,
Louisiana
Mississippi
New Mexico
Maryland
South Carolina

Which means out of the top 5, one is a blue state. In the top 10, 2 are blue states.

New Mexico is a blue state as is Maryland out of your top five.

Not that it's to anyone's surprise, but since Obama became the nominee for president, radical right wing violence has soared.

"A report published by the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point Military Academy on Jan. 15 discusses the potential dangers of “violent far-right” organizations, which has angered some conservatives that believe the military should focus on international threats.

The executive summary of the paper, “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right,” claims that “since 2007, there has been a dramatic rise in the number of attacks and violent plots originating from individuals and groups who self- identify with the far-right of American politics.”

Written by Arie Perliger, Director of Terrorism Studies at the Combating Terrorism Center and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Sciences at West Point, the paper asserts that three distinct ideologies exist in the “American violent far right.” Those are “a racist/white supremacy movement, an anti-federalist movement and a fundamentalist movement,” the last of which “includes mainly Christian Identity groins such as the Aryan Nations.”

“Findings indicate that…it is not only feelings of deprivation that motivate those involved in far right violence, but also the sense of empowerment that emerges when the political system is perceived to be increasingly permissive to far right ideas,” it later reads.

The rise in attacks in the 21st century were significant, as “Although in the 1990s the average number of attacks per year was 70.1, the average number of attacks per year in the first 11 years of the twenty-first century was 307.5, a rise of more than 400%.”

West Point study on ?violent far right? shows ?dramatic rise? in attacks | The Raw Story

I looked at the study and would like to know WHERE IN THE HELL is the MAINSTREAM MEDIA on this??
"300 attacks per year.. almost one a day in the USA! Where is the MSM reporting all this violence?

I mean I read the papers, check the internet and haven't read or heard of any such attacks.. much less 300 a year since 2000 by extreme right wing groups!

Did you read the study because there was no substantiating sourcing of the where these numbers came from!

Let's go all the way back to 1995,..

Home grown right wing extremism has been the biggest terror threat to this nation.

unaddressed-threats.jpg

Your chart is bullshit since we have no ideas how "right wing terrorism" is defined by the people who made it. Nor do we have a source for any of the statistics used to assemble it.

Note: you still haven't provided a single example of terrorist attacks against Muslims or Sikhs in this country.

Did you read what they based their information on? The main groups were the KKK, AYRAN Nations and racist/white supremacy movement gropus. They also identify a 'antifederalist group'.

From the report... page 136
Our dataset documented 87 cases of violent attacks that were initiated by militias or other anti-federal associations between 1990 and 2011.

http://www.ctc.usma.edu/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/ChallengersFromtheSidelines.pdf

YET...
When you look at the below chart from the study..these numbers do't make sense!
The total number of attacks is: 4,327...
Yet the statement is:
As can be seen, while there are variations over the years, the overall trend is very clear:
from the early 1990s until 2008 there has been a clear increase in the number of attacks.
Fourteen of the 21 years covered in this analysis witnessed more attacks than the
previous year. Although in the 1990s the average number of attacks per year was 70.1,
the average number of attacks per year in the first 11 years of the twenty-first century
was 307.5, a rise of more than 400%.
"1990s average was 70.1 or 700 attacks.
2000 to 2011 average was 307.5 or 3,377 attacks or 4,000 from 1990s to 2011.

$Screen Shot 2013-01-20 at 10.54.02 PM.jpg

Which is it? 87 cases from 1990 to 2011 or 4,327 cases?

PLUS... WHY ARE THERE NO "LEFT" WING GROUPS LIKE "OCCUPY WALL STREET" DEMONSTRATED ATTACKS ON THE NEWS?
Yet nearly NONE of the 4,327 or 87 cases seem to make the MSM much less the local news... WHY?

500 deaths by liberals in Chicago alone.. in one year.

500 deaths by liberals?

What?

Sorry, but if you think gang members need to be classified as liberal or conservative, you are a FUCKING IDIOT.

Shows how pathetic you are.

What is your reasoning of claiming they are liberals anyway?

OH I KNOW, IT'S A FUCKING SKIN COLOR THING PROBABLY!

Are you that fucking daft, or just willfully ignorant?

3,000-5000.

By saying "just 5", makes me think you're just out to protect them by trying to play down their numbers.

3,000-5000 is not a lot of people, but 5? Give me a fucking break.

Why on earth would such a subject be taught in the United States Military Academy? Are Obama's future Army leaders being taught to attack American citizens while the rest of the Army is bogged down in Afghanistan? Something is terribly wrong when students at the Military Academy are being indoctrinated about the potential for violence based on political affiliation. Look at Van Jones OWS radicals who "occupy" private property and stop commerce and stink up areas with feces and dirty needles and then look at the Tea Party blue haired old ladies and potbellied Vets who carry the Constitution in their back pockets and tell me where the threat is.

Isn't the answer quite simple? Our military has been infiltrate by Progressive Socialist. What better way to brain wash our future officers than to inculcate them with propaganda a of the LEFT.

That's the estimate by the Southern Poverty Law Center. They're credibility is zero.

The report says 10,000. That does not include Neo-Nazi, Ayran Nation or Skinheads.

A gross exaggeration. I wold like to see how they substantiate those figures.

I do find this interesting on the top of the report it says:

The views expressed in this report are the author’s and do not necessarily reflect those of the Combating Terrorism Center, U.S. Military Academy, Department of Defense or U.S. government.
