A staged assault by an off-planet civilization could happen soon.
False flag operations are covert operations which are designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is, flying the flag of a country other than one's own.

In January 1961, President Eisenhower cautioned us regarding the growing "military-industrial complex." He knew of the covert military programs dealing with the situation. He also knew that he had lost control and overview of the extent and full nature of their research and development activities. He said in his farewell speech: "In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. [...] We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes." [1]
The United States military industrial complex has stumbled upon extraterrestrial technology since the end of the 1940's. Lieutenant Colonel Philip Corso was Chief of the Foreign Technology Division of the United States Department of Defense (1961-1963), with a career in secret operations and counter intelligence. In his biographical work 'The Day After Roswell', he tells how his department inside the Pentagon was in charge of the recuperation, analysis and reverse engineering of extraterrestrial technology, recovered from a spacecraft that was downed in 1947 [2]. Colonel Corso explains how the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), or "Star Wars", was meant to achieve the destructive capacity of electronic guidance systems of incoming enemy warheads, including (if not exclusively) those of extraterrestrial origin [3].
Steven Greer, director of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), presents several military witnesses under its Disclosure Project [4]. Greer writes: "We have multiple inside sources who have described to us the use of increasingly advanced technologies to track, target and destroy extraterrestrial assets." [5]
In order to motivate the international political leadership, and the public, of the necessity of furthering this militarization of space, extraterrestrial animosity would have to be portrayed, hence a false flag operation [6] would be staged. Such an attack would appear to come from an enemy outside of Earth, but would in reality be an imitation of such an enemy by our own military organizations.
Wernher von Braun, a pioneer in the American space industry, warned us about this extraterrestrial false flag operation. As director of the Development Operations Division of the Army Ballistic Missile Agency (ABMA), the German scientist launched the Jupiter-C (January 1958), containing the first satellite in an orbit around Earth -- an event that signaled the birth of America's space program. At the end of his life, in 1972, von Braun became vice president for Engineering and Development at the Fairchild Corporation [7], where he met Dr. Carol Rosin, then corporate manager for the enterprise (1974-1977), who became a confidant of him [8]. Rosin was told by von Braun that one day, space-based weapons would be deployed against extraterrestrials, but that this threat would be based on a lie.
Fourty years later, we have come to that moment. In a briefing to President Obama sent on January 23, 2009, the CSETI writes: "Dear President Obama, Since the mid-1950s, classified projects connected to extraterrestrial matters have operated outside of constitutionally required oversight and control by the President and Congress. This constitutes a grave and ongoing threat to US national security and global security and peace. [...] Secrecy on the subject has, in part, been maintained by a carefully orchestrated psychological nexus of ridicule, fear, intimidation and disinformation that makes it difficult for any public figure to openly address the matter. [...] We are also morally obliged to warn you of an existing highly secretive plan to use advanced technologies to hoax an 'alien attack' on Earth. There exists [...] assets capable of launching such a false flag operation and virtually every person on Earth, as well as most leaders, would be deceived by it." [9]
