Oh, and don't even get started on the equivalent of a transmission in an EV. Are you even aware that those can't even be repaired? If that breaks, all you can do is replace it.

My ex is a truck driver, and she told me her company has 3 yards in the state, all of which will be closed by 2030. Then you do get that batteries for EVs last as long or often much longer than the transmissions in ICE cars. There are no transmissions as we know it in EVs. There is just a reduction gear.
