International War Crimes Tribunal

When you study the history of charging nations and individuals for war crimes it seems victors in wars never get charaged, as the US didn't even after the deliberate slaughter of over a quarter million civilians at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But the US and its allies did charge the Japanese for their atrocities during the war.

When Israel wins Protective Edge and any other conflicts then, if being consistent with US and allied history they wont be charged with any sort of criminal action. If efforts to charge and try them do result then it'll open the door to the US being charged for past atrocities in time of war as during WWII since there's no statute of limitations on murder. Which is the only word which can be used when discussing the use of atomic weapons.

While it IS true that History is written by the Winners, you still don't want some International Tribunal to have the ability to come into your country and arrest you for ANYTHING!

You know why? Because they could one day be coming after you!

That's not far fetched because the US is signing all sorts of Agreements they haven't even read that effect everything we do from Light Bulbs to Banking.

You wanna' put George Bush in Jail? Fine! But do it here.

Yet we grant the INternational Tribunal that very right for other countries, but not our own. Ironic considering we invented the notion.

Could it be we reject such subordinance to those courts because of WWII? We know we'd be charged with war crimes for using atomic weapons on civilians thus we HAVE to reject all cries to be held accountable for everything since then.

Convictions invoking universal jurisdiction[edit]

In November 2011 the tribunal purportedly exercised universal jurisdiction to try in absentia former US President George W. Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, convicting both for crimes against peace because of what the tribunal concluded was the unlawful invasion of Iraq.[7][8][9]

In May 2012 after hearing testimony for a week from victims of torture at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, the tribunal unanimously convicted in absentia former President Bush, former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, former Deputy Assistant Attorneys General John Yoo and Jay Bybee, former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, and former counselors David Addington and William Haynes II of conspiracy to commit war crimes, specifically torture.[10] The tribunal referred their findings to the chief prosecutor at the International Court of Justice in the Hague.[11]

In November 2013, the tribunal convicted State of Israel guilty of genocide of the Palestinian people and convicted former Israeli general Amos Yaron for crimes against humanity and genocide for his involvement in the Sabra and Shatila massacre.[12]

Propagandists only ever reveal their side of things. If we continue reading though...

" Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers, Param Cumaraswamy, has suggested the tribunal is a private enterprise with no legal basis and questions its legitimacy.[13] The tribunal does not have a UN mandate or recognition, no power to order arrests or impose sentences, and it is unclear that its verdicts have any but symbolic significance.[14]

A statement on the tribunal's website states: "In the event the tribunal convicts any of the accused, the only sanction is that the name of the guilty person will be entered in the Commission’s Register of War Criminals and publicized worldwide.""
