I suspect that he doesnt give a fuck about the cuts. What he has done is shine a light on Russias backward repressive regime. Gays in Russia will be cheering him for doing so.

The worst was the 80's...he became a joke. Almost a parody of himself.

Many 70s acts went to shit in the 80s. Heart and Jefferson Starship are great examples.
