Ehud Barak sings praises of Obama administration

He's a democrat, how shocking, next thing you'll show is Debbie Wasserman Schultz backing Obama

ehud barak is a democrat?

really?

want to reconsider that?

Nope, he's in the labor party, which is the leftwing party of Israel....but I wouldnt expect a liberal to actually read information and gather pesky things like facts

it's always amusing when a mindless drone tells me i don't read information.

words have meanings. being a democrat is purely a US designation.

perhaps if you'd actually ever gone anywhere or learned anything?

Yes Jillian I'm a drone and you need everything spelled out in triplicate....I supposed you dont see parallels between the CONSERVATIVE British government and republicans and LABOR and democrats......I love how liberals want everybody else to spell it out and be 100% accurate, yet they are rarely correct at all...
So I know you weren't programmed for that, but Netenyahu is like a republican in Israel, hence liberals over here HATE HATE HATE him, do you not agree?

In recent years (up until 2005), Labor became a centrist party.[citation needed] It was no longer considered socialist or social-democratic (though it retained membership in the Socialist International) but had a centrist platform, similar to the Third Way of British Labour Party under Tony Blair. Economic policies in Israel being seldom hotly debated even within the major parties, actual policies depended much more on initiative by the civil service than on political ideologies. Therefore, Labor's terms in office during this period did not differ significantly in terms of economic policy from those of its rival.

The international media has described the Labor Party as centre-left, social-democratic, and dovish.

Party leaders
Hmmmmm....who does this describe.......in America.....geee.....I dont know....oh wait.....DEMOCRATS. And look who the last leader on the list was......hmmmmmmmm...It's just not that hard to look intelligent when arguing with you clowns.......
I mean really I feel like a professor that has to school you each and every day.....if you werent so partisan and actually knew something outside of your liberal bubble of talking points....I wouldnt have to sound like an asshole.....but sometimes.....you just have to speak the truth

He was one of the leaders of the Raid on Entebbe.

Geezus H. Kryst, I spewed my Pepsi all over the screen on that one.

That does not make sense, buckeyes. The Israels are satisfied with Barak, you are yelling about racism, and the hole in your logic is obvious.

More importantly, the American people as a whole don't think like you few folks on this question.

The Israelis are now not Jewish "enough" for American reactionaries. Really?

yeah Jake, all Israelis are the same...NOW who's racist?

I think it's a good thing folks in Israel can support who they want, it's a great thing in an area of hate and death.

Good for him, he likes Obama...........to quote Joe Biden, BFD!!

Barak endorses Barack, touts US security support

Defense minister says Obama most supportive president of Israeli security; Panetta to arrive to press Israel to give sanctions time.

In what appears like a clear endorsement of a presidential candidate, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Monday night that Barack Obama has been the most supportive president on matters of Israeli security throughout the two countries' diplomatic relations.

In an interview aired late Monday night on CNN, Barak told Wolf Blitzer that the Obama administration’s support of Israeli defense and intelligence establishments was far greater than under any other administration he remembered working with since and including President Jimmy Carter.

"I think that from my point of view as defense minister they are extremely good, extremely deep and profound. I can see long years [and] administrations of both sides of [the] political aisle deeply supporting the state of Israeli [sic] and I believe that reflects a profound feeling among the American people," Barak said.

"But I should tell you honestly that this administration under President Obama is doing, in regard to our security, more than anything that I can remember in the past,” he added.

:)
Evidently, Barak doesn't know the truth about Barack! Barack had a lot of people fooled here in the US for a long time....still has some of them drunk from the Kool-Aid. Barak doesn't yet understand the dark side of Barack and doesn't realize that Barack is nothing more than a goddamned Marxist. Barak has likely not heard Barack recite the Muslim prayers.

Anybody can be fooled into thinking Barack Obama can walk on water if they have not been exposed to the truth.

This endorsement means nothing to me. Israelis do not vote in our election.

I would not expect anything else. A former PM, giving an interview to a ultra liberal news outlet, about a man who may, despite all evidence to the contrary, be reelected is going to be very careful about what he says will be very careful in his choice of words. This doesn't mean that the undermining, the leaks, the leaked reports about Israel's plans have not been recognized.

None of the far right extremist nonsense here can change the fact that Obama has been very good with foreign policy concerning Israel.

I doubt very seriously that Barak believes what he said to CNN, or even if that's what he really said to CNN. It's CNN!

He was being diplomatic in speaking to an ultra liberal US media outlet, KNOWING that the obama administration is anti Israel enough as it is.

Awful quiet in here!
