Downeast Coast, Maine, a day in the Park

Fort Point, about 20 miles from home by car, about a mile and a half from home as the crow flies.....we live on the opposite side of the Penobscot Bay/River from this park....this was yesterday, a bit hazy but glorious none the less!

thank goodness for texas....irving oil tanker being towed up the river to dock and unload our heating oil!

I'll be heading up to your state in August with my family. We'll be staying on Lake Pemaquid up in Damariscotta. Lovely country up in Maine. Just a beautiful state!

Beaches are real rocky! some cool rocks too, and artifacts....i found a broken piece of very old pottery with markings on it that i am trying to decipher!
