Sort of a modern take on the movie Stepford Wives.
In a "perfect" idealistic community with 1950s sensibilities (sort of) there is something not quite right.
The main character played by Florence Pugh is trying to find out.
It was good enough to hold our attention for awhile, but the story was a bit weak and not making a helluva lot of sense. And as you continue to watch, it becomes all too painfully obvious - this movie is social commentary.
It is not a real movie. It is a supposed story to show how awful traditional values were, how evil conservative views are that imprisons women while men "get all the good stuff".
Unless you just want to hate on men......... skip it.
