They need to be, to justify their votes. Some of them really know Reid has stopped 360 bills passed by the House, by not even letting them go for a vote. This way it saves his precious president from the public embarrassment and possible media attention ( though doubtful ) of having to actually use his veto powers thus, and more importantly, losing adoration and votes from his own party.
