This makes me remember when I was a kid "on the farm", we would climb up on the barn and do a running jump into the hay stack. (In those days, the hay was sometimes just piled instead of baled.) Our dogs saw we were having fun and wanted to join in so we would lift them (collies!) up on to the barn roof and they would take their turn and then demand to be taken back up again.

I really love this video a lot. He's WAY in touch with his inner puppy and I love watching a dog run like that - just because he's happy and well taken care of. I posted about our most recent foster who was just a fur coat on a skeleton and eaten alive by ticks and fleas. He was very near death when we found him dumped. It was such a great day when that little guy was healthy and happy enough to do that crazy running around - just being a puppy.

Dogs are so very special. They deserve so much more than we give them and no matter how we treat them, they always love us and take care of us.
