When you can't start a business without it being looted and burnt to the ground then things don't get better. So I should probably also add that law enforcement is just as important as we will always have people that don't respect others property.

Infrastructure, science, r&d and education all have something in common...Just that law enforcement allows for the wheel to turn smoothly.

I believe in a system that has both a public and private sector. Not everything should be done for profit when it comes to the interest of the American people. On the otherhand, the private sector certainly allows for great innovative freedom for ideas and I most certainly believe it is a important element of our society.

The majority of science believe it or not is innovated and funded by our government!

We need the government to demand that businesses have high standards for workers.
We need the government to regulate air and water quality
We need the government to demand that business serve clean and quality food.
We need the government to forecast the weather and to invest into better research into this field to save lives.
We need the government to invest in science and r&d...Some of this of course will be private business ideas that we will work wit.

This is how all of the first world nations works. There's very few countries that breaks from this norm that are respectable.
