I Think no way
deficit spending is one thing but deficit spending with no results is the thing

The UAW bailout is a skeleton in the closet

I'll wait to see if he wins the nomination.

But even if he does, he has zero chance.

I agree
he lied to the public about the stimulus
out of all of the mistakes he made, that one had intent

I say he stands a great chance. He's popular and Republicans don't yet have a candidate that's strong enough to beat him.

By the way, Obama saved GM. No skeletons there. Just another success in his wake.

It's too far out to tell, a lot can change and it depends who the GOP has running.

It will be harder for him to win no matter what as he is now very Pro War, pro torture, expanded homeland security, did bail-outs, did a hugely failed stimulus, extended unemployment and so on... Many things he either ran on to get elected and many things that will lose him the independents.

Obama has a very “underwhelmed” (to use RW’s choice word) base these days as he has simply let them down… Obama might have lost or split the youth vote as well. Again, it very much depends who the Republicans put up, a MItt or Huck would be r-tarded and i can't see that happening. I

f Ron Paul runs I believe the GOP will embrace him because he will split the vote... I don't know if RP can beat Obama as he is Old and white and it's very hard to sell that particular skin color and age to a openly racist and bigoted left these days.

LOL, it's a bush bot for Obama.

All it's gonna' take is for the Republicans to run another RINO like John McCain (Huckabee I'm looking at you) and Obama WILL be re-elected.

All the "experts" said Dubya wouldn't be re-elected either remember?

I'm no Bushbot. How did you come to that conclusion? What does Bush have to do with this discussion? Do you disagree that GM would have sunk without the Obama bailout?

It will still sink.

The bailout prolonged the inevitable, but GM still turns out shit, and is mismanaged terribly. As soon as no one is looking, they'll be back to what made them what they are, and then they'll be gone for good.

Consumer Reports disagrees with you.

Consumer Reports Cars Blog: Consumer Reports' 2010 Annual Car Reliability Survey: GM makes big strides, while Honda, Toyota dominate

General Motors has improved considerably, though Honda and Toyota still dominate in the latest predicted-reliability Ratings of new cars, according to Consumer Reports 2010 Annual Auto Survey. Eighty-three percent of Chevrolets, General Motor's major brand, now have average or better scores in predicted reliability, up from 50 percent last year.

Couple of reason why I think Obama will likely be re-elected.

1) the majority of sitting Presidents win re-election. Since WW2 there have only been 2 elected Presidents that didnt win a second term. Carter & Bush1. Generally Americans dont like to change horses mid-stream

2) The GOP doesnt have a viable contender to take out Obama, unless some dark horse that no one has heard of yet suddenly appears. Romeny is a Mormon stiff that could not beat John McCain 4 years ago, Huckelbee is not presidential material, Palin is a mad-woman that wont even run. Ron Paul is disliked by the mainstream GOP and most importantly by FOX News, therefore he is screwed.

I think the GOP will wait to put a serious contender in 2016 when the economy will be more stable and easier to win a second term.

Yes.

Because Palin will fail to secure the GOP nomination and run as a third party candidate, thereby splitting the anti-Obama vote and guaranteeing he gets a second term. It's already been scripted. Now the players are all simply acting out their parts.

The Country and the world can go to hell in a handbasket but as long as B. Hussein continues to propped up and supported by the dominating liberal media he has a chance. You can sense the desperation the socialist left when they attack every possible GOP candidate this far from the election.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed the tea party will get a fiscal conservative nominated instead of a social conservative wing nut and if that happens then bo is done

That's Mr. President to you. There is nobody who can beat him in 2012.
