Do we owe Muslims another apology?

There is definitely a huge problem with hate, oppression and violence with Islam. It’s very legitimate to criticize Islamic motivated mass murders of innocent people. But the Democrats defend terrorist attacks because Muslims part of their coalition. Remember Obama's buddy Rev. Wright, "the chickens have come home to roost."

Sure. There are huge differences between Christianity and Islam. To minds who cannot discern the mutual and shared beliefs.

Both Christianity and Islam, slave holding ideologies, have basically developed into intolerant, homophobic and misogynous religions. Both religions have grown themselves by the sword instead of good deeds and continue with their immoral ways in spite of secular law showing them the moral ways.

Jesus said we would know his people by their works and deeds. That means Jesus would not recognize Christians and Muslims as his people, and neither do I. Jesus would call Christianity and Islam abominations.

Gnostic Christians did in the past, and I am proudly continuing that tradition and honest irrefutable evaluation based on morality.

Well that is not true at all. There are some great Christian organizations out there that do an immense amount of charity work. Have you heard of some of these organizations, such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital?

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

So it's free to go to that hospital?

Yes. You've never heard of Christian charitable organizations before?

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962, is a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases. The hospital costs about $2.4 million a day to run, and there is no cost to the patient to be treated.[1]

So why aren't there line-ups around the block to get in? Why do people bitch about the high cost of health care, just go there.

It is for children with catastrophic illnesses. You don't think any one hospital could fit everyone for everything do you? Nobody could possibly be that illogical and unreasonable.

So it's not free to everyone, just they're preferred people. Got it.

How on earth do you think they would make it "free" for everybody?

Let me just ask, which charities do you donate to? Any at all, or do you just complain about the way things are?

Yeah, their "preferred people" are children who are fighting terminal illnesses. Wow, they are just terrible for trying to help out humanity at all, huh? I mean, they wouldn't give YOU free healthcare (a grown person capable of caring for himself), so they must be bad. Lol.

To get close to a religion of peace is good.

That is not what Islam and Christianity are and all should recognize it just from Jihads and Inquisitions.

Somehow, that fact escapes many.

Statistically, you are way off the mark. Look at the great stats at the end of this link.

As you can see, most are ignoring what reality is like and how much progress we are collectively enjoying in spite of our immoral mainstream religions.

No. We don't know enough to make such declarations of "good" and "evil." I know plenty of "good" Christian people who are certainly not at all evil. I'm sure there are good Muslim people too. The Christian religion (at least here in America) is pretty moderate, especially when you compare it to Islam, a religion where people pray to their god like 6 times a day and is not just a religion but an entire way of life, the way they dress, they way they govern, the foods they eat, etc., etc. Islam, in many parts of the world, has not been moderated in any way. It is still the same as it was in ancient times, so there is a complete culture clash between "us" and "them" in many instances regarding many things.

Excuse you:

St. Jude is not a Catholic hospital. It is not affiliated with any religious organization. The sum total of your knowledge of this topic is that it has "Saint" in the name. Slow down.

Although it doesn't have any "religious" affiliations, it was founded by a religious Catholic man, so the entire basis of the charitable hospital was "religiously" based.

I can see that some of you people are just full of hatred for anything related to Christianity and want to believe that they do NO good in the world and only bad, but you are extremely ignorant, so that is to be expected.

Apparently so. I always thought these types of people were just a myth that the right wing made up, but since I've been posting on message boards, I have had some exposure to these fringe loons, and it is UGLY. Lol.

I have to wonder why some of these people seem to have such hatefulness for Christians. Most of their neighbors would consider themselves Christian in one form or another. I am not religious myself, but I am not "brainwashed" that I cannot see the good that Christians do in this world. There are TONS of Christian charitable organizations out there who do lots of good for lots of people. Then we have the posters here at USMB who think they are "better" or something. Lol. ;)

So they take any sick children for free? You can just show up? Or do you have to be picked, because that would be a lot of children?

I don't know. There was an entirely different mindset and culture way back then.

However, I wouldn't let most of these people bother you. They are quite obviously obsessed and are very strange about the whole topic of Christianity, going back thousands of years to vilify Christians and not giving them any credit for ever doing any good in this world. I would tend to think they are neurotic people or something. No need to let such people's opinions bother you in any way.

How about, if it is interesting to you, you do some of your own research? Seriously, your lack of intellectual curiosity really says a lot about you. :D All of this information is very easy to find at the tip of your fingers.
