This dystopia-portrait was inspired by the conceptual Utopia-evangelism films Tomorrowland and The City of Lost Children.
It also references a concept-art presentation regarding a dystopian theme-park called Dismaland.

Dismaland was a real theme-park of our post-apocalyptic future, complete with a tower and structures (otherwise gloomy) illuminated by bright red lights (signifying the presence of a sinister intelligence). If you went to Dismaland, you would never forget it. The 'prophecy-child' of Dismaland was an elected baby named Ana who lived in the giant tower in the heart of the theme park. Ana was a practicing cannibal, and the Federation of United States as well as the Reformed Socialist Vatican condoned the child's pure darkness.
Dismaland was not inevitable. Had U.S. President Trump avoided nuclear war with North Korea with carefully-planned peace-promoting commercial ties with democratic trading partner South Korea, China would have joined in on the economics-based allegiance and avoided the armed conflicts which escalated into the apocalyptic devastation which brought us to this gloomy state. Now, all we had was Machiavellian survivalism and imagination based on precision and methodical obedience to Ana; even imagineers constructed sculptures in Dismaland of the consequences of rebellion --- elaborate futuristic torture-devises comprised of laser-guns.
Dismaland was being unofficially financially managed by President Trump's great grandson Evans Trump who never dreamed he'd have the opportunity to try to salvage humanity's only stand against utter anarchy. Evans loved Ana and wanted to ensure 'modern Earthlings' that Ana's cannibalism was a 'righteous testament' of the new realistic face of capitalism/commercialism. Ana was fed the flesh and blood of society's miscreants and outcasts and rebels (and sometimes the unemployed!). Admission to Dismaland required careful screening and cost most people a year's salary to spend one week there, but the metaphysical satisfaction was undeniable --- complete awe of the scope of this new Martial Future.
Fortunately, a time-traveller named Quincy (from the year 2020) arrived. Quincy escaped the global apocalypse in the Trump era using a time machine designed in secret by NASA. Quincy always thought Earth would face an apocalypse from asteroids, not nuclear war! When Quincy arrived in Dismaland, he quickly assassinated Evans Trump and took souvenirs to take back with him to his own time. Quincy presented his Evans-mementos to President Donald Trump who was so horrified by Quincy's reports that he immediately ceased all military operations and worked 10,000 times harder to ensure that nuclear war ended...and it did. Somehow, psychiatry prevailed (but not without the pure miracle of time-travel!).
