Mitt Romney's tax returns: the 'voter fraud' theory | MS Bellows Jr | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

Meanwhile, Romney appears to have escaped relatively unsinged from the apparently unrelated revelation that he may have committed voter fraud in January 2010, when – despite not owning a house in Massachusetts and having given every appearance of having moved to California – he registered and voted in the Massachusetts special election to replace the deceased Senator Ted Kennedy. Given the GOP's ongoing use of the "voter fraud" fable to justify modern Jim Crow laws and its highly-publicized persecution of the voter registration group Acorn, an actual case of felony voter fraud committed by the Republican nominee could have been a big story – but Romney was able to tamp down the flames by claiming, not very credibly but also not disprovably, that he and Ann actually were living in their son Tagg's Belmont, Massachusetts basement in 2010. Without proof that Romney lied about where he lived, there's no felony – and no big national story.

He told the people of that state that he paid taxes in Mass and that they just needed to trust him on that one.

then it turned out not ot be true so he had his taxes retroactively changed.

That is why he still refuses to fill out the application for the job by giving what all the other candidates for the job have already given.

If you dont fill out the application your aplication goes to the bottom of the pile.

as it should

From the article:
" but Romney was able to tamp down the flames by claiming, not very credibly but also not disprovably, that he and Ann actually were living in their son Tagg's Belmont, Massachusetts basement in 2010."

Must have been down there listening to a little Rage Against the Machine with Paul.

Well let us use liberal logic to address the asininity of this latest "what if" BS.

1. As Obama did for 17 years lying about his place of birth, or was he? All politicians lie, as did Clinton.

2. There is no such thing as voter fraud so to bring up the subject is being very disingenuous. No surprise from the left which has only one standard, one for them and one for everyone else.

Oh yeah, and why does Obama have a Connecticut S.S. number?????

What are the residency requirements in Massachusetts?

2010 Mitt & Ann Romney Return | Mitt Romney for President

Your OP link is shit, and this thread is a lie.

The state states that one can register to vote as soon as one moves into their new address. So the question comes down to did he and his wife really live in his kid's basement from which address he filed taxes and voted.

It looks like Obama told his colleges that he was born in Kenya and he likely only showed up for graduation
