Doncha know they already explained that. His zip code in Hawaii was 96814 and it was probably just copied wrong at SSA to 06814 which is a zip code from Danbury Connecticut.
Sounds almost rational, right? Wrong! When President obama got his Social Security card at 15, (1976 or so) there was only 1 zip code in Danbury, 06810 and that included neighboring New Fairfield, where I grew up . I believe it was 2004 that 06813 and 06814 were added
